"Need to Talk"

"Kimmy?!" I could feel tears prick my face but I held them back. No, this can't be happening. Wes sat there saying nothing. I couldn't do this. The next thing I knew I was running past Kimmy and down the stairs. Keaton was at the bottom and I was crying now. "Lex, are you okay? Who is that girl" I didn't look at him nor say anything. I just ran. I ran home. Past drew. Into my room, slamming the door behind me. I laid down on my bed and cried myself to sleep.

Wes' POV

why did Alexis run out on me? What did she have to say? I though drew was never gonna let me see her! I know she was hurt that I was going to dinner with Kimmy, but it was nothing. I like Kimmy and all but I still have feelings for Alexis. What we had was nice. I never felt that way with a girl before. I need to talk with lex, I tried calling her. It rang for a while but soon came to voicemail. Fourth one since I saw her last night. I have texted seven times since then and have gotten no answer. I know she's hurt and I need to talk to her. I just can't go to her house because drew will never let me in. He probably won't even let me any where near her.

Lex' POV

I woke up to my phone buzzing, it was Wes. I slide my finger over the screen, declining the call. It was his fourth call. He sent a bunch of text messages that I just deleted not even looking at them. He had to be kidding. I don't need this. And I thought we had something. All my feelings for him were gone. I saw why my brother doesn't like him.

I put some sweatpants and T-shirt on. I went to the kitchen for some food. Luckily no one was home. I was heading back to my room when there was a knock on the door. It better not be Wes. If its him I'm going to slam the door on his face. When I opened the door it was worse than Wes

It was Kimmy.

She looked down at her feet and asked to come in. I hesitated but let her in. "Um... Hi lex"

"Why are you hear" she could hear the anger in my voice. I didn't need this.

"Um... I wanted to apologize."

"For what? You didn't know" I had to give her that.

"I kinda did..." WHAT? THE. WHAT WAS SHE FUCKING DOING?

"I'm sorry lex. I was jealous ok! Before you showed up Wes was noticing me. We started talking and hangout a few times. But once he saw you he ignored me. I thought I could get over him, but as you can see, I couldn't. I couldn't stop thinking about him. He really likes you lex." I was speech less. But she wasn't done. "At first I wanted to steal him from you. I planned to go to dinner with him, that was last night. But when we talked on the beach I felt different. You seemed nice and I really wanted to be friends. I felt awful seeing you run out of wes' house. Then I realized that you like him and he likes you and i only wanted wes so you couldn't have him." She stopped and broke our eye contact. She really looked sorry. Before I even thought, I hugged her. She hugged back. "Thank you for telling me Kimmy. You are really sweet." She smiled and nodded "Thank you Kim's for this. It means a lot." She smiled and opened the door to leave. "Hey Kimmy" she turned around. "You will find someone else. I can guarantee it." She smiled and walked home.
