Chapter two: peacemaker

PIPER POV:

When we got to camp it was a war zone. The Romans were invading in swarms and the campers were trying to keep them out of the camp bounderies. We landed on half-blood hill, and everything froze. We amplafied our voices across the hills with our new godly powers.

"Gaea is defeated, it is a time for peace" our voices said in perfect sync

"Lower your weapons and we will discuss this as civil people". It sounded reasonable. However the Romans started to attack again but that was ended when a giant wave descended on everyone. I looked at the son of Posideon who was responsible. He shrugged, snapped his fingers and everyone was dry.

"There must be peace if the world is to stay equal and sane. If the mortals find out about demigods, chaos will take over and the scales will tip. I did not just fight in a war and come back to a useless fight of simple foolishness. Now Romans and Greeks I want you to shake hands and make friends because I need to relax." I finished. Chiron trotted up the hill to greet us. He seemed so happy.

"Welcome back gods and goddesses." he said as we all smiled at our mentor.

PERCY POV:

Chiron looked so happy and I think I know why. He once told me the hardest part about training Heros is having to watch them come to an end. I think he is happy because he knows that seven of his Heros now cannot die and he will have some eternal help training new demigods. When we got to the big house I saw the rest of the councelers and Reyna and Octavian. When the teddy bear killer saw me he yelled

"Kill the Greek"! And I just laughed.

"What is so funny" he asked, clearly confused.

"You can't kill a god" I said like I was talking to a three year old. Then I walked to all my friends and said hello. I got a lot of good jobs, how have you beens, congradulations, and a few you seem differents and one darn the little punk survived.

"Hello to you to Clarisse" I say in a sarcastic manor. We went inside and sat around the ping pong table we were all chatting randomly like old times, when Chiron called to order. We looked at him expectantly.

"Well after that amazing speech by Piper I hope that we can put this behind us. I also wish to welcome back our seven heros." he said. We nodded at him. Then I realized that something was missing from the ping pong table. I snapped my fingers and cheese whiz and crackers appeared. The Greeks all dug in and the Romans looked appalled that this was our formal meeting.

Travis looked at me.

"How did you make them appear?" he asked. I looked at Chiron to see if I should tell them.

"Tell them Percy" he said in my head. Whoa how come I can talk to him with my mind.

"My guess is because you are now god of horses" he said.

"Hello, earth to earth to Percy, are you going to answer my question?" Travis asked.

"Oh ya, sorry. All of the seven are gods" I said like it was no big deal.

"Im the god of swordsmanship, loyalty and horses, Annabeth is goddess of architecture and facts, Leo is god of humour and mechanics, Piper is goddess of peace and persuaition, Hazel is goddess of jewels, Frank is god of strength and weakness and Jason is god of leadership and the ozone. However I don't know about the others but I still want to be treated like a normal demigod that has a few bonuses. So please just treat me like you did before the prophecy of seven." I finished, looking everyone in the eyes. I got a bunch of sures, okays and alrights. The seven replied with same here's.

"Why are your eyes shattered" Clarisse asked. I looked down slightly self concious.

"Annabeth and I fell in Tartarus, and the torture made us a little different" i said hoping I wouldnt have to explain more. But aparantly the fates hate me because Chris asked

"What do you mean a little different"? I lifted up my shirt to show the scars. They all gasped except for Annabeth.

"Percy you never told us it was that bad" Piper said.

"So how did the prophecy unfold?" Conner asked, probably sensing my discomfort. I looked at Annabeth to explain. We all knew what happend just she can explain it better.

" Well the first line I'm sure you can figure out yourselves. The second line meant how the Argo 2 almost crashed in a storm and Leo kept it together and fixed it. The third line is because coach Hedge swore to protect us and he died saving us by closing the doors from the inside. And obviously the Greeks and Romans worked together to close the doors of death, so the fourth line was complete. The prophecy is done." she said shakely. I pulled her into my lap, kissed her cheek and smiled.

"Well it's good to see that after everything my favorite couple is still together". Someone said.

"Lady Aphrodite" I greeted.

"No need for the lady title Percy. You are a god now remember. Speaking of which, Zeus told me to tell you the monthly god meeting is in two days. Some said it was to early with the war just over but Zeus is one for tradition. All gods must be there, including you seven. Piper walk with me to your cabin. It's been to long since I talked to my children." she said. As they walked out I saw that Piper was smiling. I guess she was excited to see her brothers and sisters.

"Well now to get back on track, how many deaths do we have?" Chiron asked

"Ares has none, Demeter has one, Apollo has one, Hephaestus has none, Dionysis has two, Hypnos has none, Hecate has none, Athena has one and surprisingly Aphrodite has none." Clarisse said. Everyone took into account which of theirs died.

"I have no idea about the Romans" she Finished.

"We lost eight of our campers" Reyna said, grim faced.

"Well at least we got rid of five Greeks" Octavian said with a smile. All of the greeks drew their weapons on him. Hmmmmm, I thought. Let's try out some of these new god powers shall we, I thought. I turned him into a stuffed horse. Frank, Hazel, Jason, Reyna and I started laughing, while the others looked at us like we were crazy. We explained it to them and I made a knife appear. I handed it to Hazel with a smirk.

"Wanna make up for a year of blackmail?" I asked. She grinned and started to bring the knife closer to the stuffed horse. A few inches away I turned him back. The look on his face was priceless! After that we decided that it was time to go to bed. I walked back to my cabin and took in the over all camp. The debris was everywhere. I snapped my fingers and everything repaired itself. Barracks even appeared for the Romans. I could get used to this I thought.

PIPER POV:

I was walking with my mom to the Aphrodite cabin. I was so excited to see my siblings!

"I am so proud of you Piper." My mom said

"You are the first of my kids to do something important. And I think that you got Aphrodite kids a little bit of a tougher reputation. Speaking of which, there is another war coming and if that is true, then I want my kids to be ready. I need you to train them." She said. Another war. You have got to be kidding me! However I did want my siblings to be able to hold a weapon, so I told my mom that I would train them.

"You will play a crucial part in the next war, once again you will be a peacemaker." she warned. As we walked in there was a chorus of surprised

"Mom!". We all hung out with our mother the whole night. But my moms warning was ringing in my ears. Another war. Great. Please note the sarcasm.
