Are you happy now Wolfy you can stop pestering me!
PERCY POV:
We have been walking for 3 hours. We can't flash there because we don't know where there is. We can't take a cab because we don't want to bring attention to mortals. Mortals. It felt weird saying that before when I was half mortal, but now that I was immortal it felt even weirder. The idea that I will live forever is just to odd for my 'seaweed brain' to comprehend. We made it to Brooklyn. I have no idea where we are going but it seems like Dianna does. We walk through some rough neighbourhoods but whenever someone moves on us I give them my wolf glare. Finally we stopped in front of a large mansion.
"I think we're in the right place" Annabeth said. The architecture looked Egyptian. Ugh, Annabeth's smart talk wore off on me. We talked for a few minutes before deciding on a plan on how to get in. We rang the doorbell. Plain and simple. It was right beside the east river so if we got in trouble I could use the water to boost my powers.
A blonde girl wearing white cotton robes opened the door.
"Can I help you?" she said, looking confused. I bet they had magic on this building and they didn't get to many visitors. She had an English accent but it was mixed with an American, like she was some type of hybrid. A boy that had brown skin and eyes came to the door as well.
"But we haven't sent out the djhed recently and they shouldn't be able to see us. It's impossible." he kept muttering things like that and for about five minutes we stood there staring at each other. Suddenly a thought hit me.
"We've met before!" I exclaimed it was all coming back to me now. The fight with the giant crocodile that had been eating our Pegasi. What was his name again..... Carter! that was it. A light seemed to turn on inside his head.
"The son of Sobek! You're name is Percy right? I remember now." he said. He invited us inside. It was much bigger on the inside. When you first enter it brings you to the great room. They had a giant statue of a man with a birds head. Some had put a porkpie hat on top of the bird had and his toes were coloured in with purple and pink crayon. There was a mixture of weapons and musical instruments hung on the walls. Carter sent the people who were in there out of the room and turned around.
"We have a lot to talk about."
I'm sorry it's so short! I am way past my promised date and I feel horrible. I'm not going to put in excuses but I'm going to try harder. Once again I am so so sorry please forgive me!
