Chapter three: the prophecy

ANNABETH POV:

Two days passed quickly. We burnt the shrouds of those who died, and celebrated our victory against Gaea. Piper informed us of the coming war but we weren't overly concerned. Me and Percy have been spending pretty much every second together. I even slept in the Posideon cabin. After tartarus we have to be together. It literally hurts when we are apart. We also get panic attacks if we are apart for to long.

It was time for the meeting of the gods. I was scared to tell you the truth, I mean all of the gods in one room, that has got to be scary. So the seven met at Thalia's pine tree, and from there we teleported to Olympus. As we walked to the throne room Percy and I held hands. When we got there we stood in the crowd of gods.

"Where are the seven?" Zeus boomed. We stepped forward.

"Why are you standing when you have thrones?" he asked. As he said it I noticed seven new thrones that were weaved into the olympian ones. Each one represented one of us. They weren't quite as big but that was understandable. We all went to sit in our thrones. They were beside our parents, and when I looked up Athena was beaming down at me. I smiled back at my mom, happy to have made her proud.

"Alright, so as most of you know there is a new threat arising, however we do not yet know what it is. We have a few guesses but we cannot be certain. What we do know is that we need a prophecy. To do so we have brought the oracle here." Zeus said finishing his speech. The grand doors were opened and there stood Rachel Elizabeth Dare. She walked into the center of the room and started spewing green smoke:

The forbidden child must prevail,

The knot of Isis shows the trail,

Egypts crown will be of aid,

Enemies or friends be made,

The skys weakness must be found,

Or the gods in chains be bound.

When she finished she passed out but two people caught her and laid her down off to the side.

"Ok so that must be the third great prophecy. I think that we must reveal the demigods foreign counter parts when the prophecy comes to be." Zeus said.

"Another camp of demigods?" I asked.

"Not demigods, Egyptian magicians." He replied.

"Okay then, does Chiron know about them?" Percy asked.

"No son not even Chiron knows about them. We have kept them a secret because of how different they are but I believe that the prophecy wants us to unite with them." Posideon said to his heir.

"Now these magicians work differently than us. For one, they host the gods in their bodies. Secondly they work in groups called nomes. Every city has a nome to take care of all magical activity. Third they have just gone through a war of their own and have a sixteen year old on their throne which might work to our advantage." Zeus finished.

"Okay so who is the forbidden child" I asked. If Percy was part of another prophecy I'm fairly certain he will go insane.

"When there is a prophecy it is better not to question it, daughter" my mother told me.

"It is better to let it come to pass". After that the meeting was boring. They talked about everything and anything. When it was over the seven met up at the doors.

"Well that was boring" Leo said
