I tried to find the twins after Algebra.
By the time I finished changing my clothes in the lockers room, most of the students were already scrambling to get to the next class, so I had to get to my class as well so I wouldn't be late.
Not that it mattered in the end anyway, I might've just skipped the class as my mind kept replaying the conversation, I could hardly comprehend anything from what the teacher was saying. Questions kept swirling through my head, trying to find answers to what the hell Aiden meant.
As soon as class ended, I was the first one out of my seat. I knew that it was useless since I didn't even know which class they had, but I just couldn't help but try anyways. I wandered through the hallways of the school with no exact intention of where to look.
They were going to drive me mad and I knew it.
I sighed and was about to turn around to go get my things from my locker, when my eyes caught the familiar shade of brown hair. I was about to move closer to make sure it was one of them when a hand landed on my shoulder almost giving me a panic attack.
I turned around to find Mia standing there.
"Hey Lex, What are you doing here? You said you had Algebra last period in your text?" She said showing me her phone for emphasis, which was kind of useless since it was off.
"Uhmm, I was just-" I glanced over my shoulder to find that the person had vanished in the swarm of students. I sighed and turned back to Mia who was looking at me suspiciously. "I got lost?" was my pathetic excuse.
She didn't seem to buy it, but she didn't press it either and I was thankful for that. "Right. Well, I was looking for you anyway. Did you need a ride home?"
"Yeah, that would be nice, thank you." I smiled "Let's get Jason, and then we can head home."
She nodded, and we started heading towards Jason's locker.

"We're back!" I yelled, as Jason and I entered the house.
"Welcome back," Mom said smiling as she came out from the living room. "How was school?"
I shrugged, "Normal."
She nodded, "Alright, I'll start making dinner now, so go change your clothes and come down to help me. I want to hear some more details."
"Okay." I said as I started climbing up the stairs to my room.
The rest of the evening was pretty normal. After dinner, I went upstairs to my room to do my homework. Then at about nine o'clock, Jason knocked on my door and we spent the rest of the night talking about our day.
The following morning, I woke up extra early. I was determined to get to school before classes start to be able to look for the twins or at least track down any of the classes they had. I was fixated on getting answers from them.
I had even chosen my outfit in advance, and had showered the night before. So after quickly brushing my teeth, I put on the jeans and t-shirt I had chosen, got my jacket and satchel and went downstairs.
I went into the kitchen to get a granola bar, not risking having a full breakfast. I was also going to leave a note for mom and dad, but turns out I didn't need to, because when I entered the kitchen, I was greeted by the sight my brother. He was sitting on a stool in his Pajamas eating his breakfast. He looked up at me surprised when I entered and I didn't blame him, everyone that knew me well understands that I do not waste a minute where it's possible for me to sleep.
