He was quite handsome for a guy around my age. His hair was also light brown and his eyes were brown. Ms.Frackle and the mysterious boy went outside in the hallway and talked. A group of preppy girls next to me were squealing and talking about the boy, and how he's a famous viner of something. I'm not the usual up to date type on social media, so I have no idea who the "famous viner" is.
Later on, the boy re-enters the room with Ms.Frackle.
"Boys and Girls!" Yelled Ms.Frackle to get our attention.
"We have a new student, his Name is Cameron Dallas." She said.
As soon as she said his name every girl in the room were screaming and cheering. And to my surprise, he just waves at them.
"Cameron is new, and he hasn't been in a public school since the 3rd grade. So I need you to be nice and help him around school." She said as she sat down in her desk.
"My dear, you can go sit at the empty seat on the left of Melody Kate Decker." She said as she pointed to the seat next to mine. Ugh, why did she have to say my full name? This is so embarrassing, I prayed he wouldn't notice me. Cameron sat down and smiled at me, I smiled back and immediately turned the other way. This is probably the awkwardest moment in my life. What am I suppose to do? He looks like the next Model for Teen Vogue, while I look like a baby potato. I highly doubt he's even interested in talking to people like me so I guess I could just ignore him.
"Do you have a pencil I could borrow?" Cameron said as he looked at me.
His face was glowing a beautiful tan in the sunlight, as he awkwardly looks at me.
"Oh, um, a pencil, uh yes I got a pencil." I said immediately regretting what I just said. I took out the first thing I could reach out of my book bag.
"Here." I said as I handed him a wooden pencil.
"Thanks, uh what's your name?" He asked curiously.
"Oh I'm Melody." I replied.
"Ah yes, Melody Kate Decker." He said as he started to grin.
"Very funny." I said sarcastically.
"That's a cute name." He said as he took out his notebook and started writing down notes.
"Uh, thanks." I said as i also started writing.
"So, is high school exactly how it is in the movies?" He asked as his lips curved and made a smile.
"Well, it's actually the exact opposite." I answered smiling. "Instead of mean girls, we have really really annoying girls who thinks their the next Selena Gomez. While in reality my dead goldfish from fourth grade is hotter." I said as I kept writing.
"Wow." Cam said as he started laughing.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Nothing Ms.Melody Kate Decker." He replied as he winked at me.
I blushed, hoping I'm not as red as a tomato.
"Quite down!" Yelled Ms.Frackle, but the sound of the school bell rose over her voice.
I got up and was about to leave.
"Could you help me to to find where this class is?" Cameron asked as he pointed to his schedule.
"Oh that's where I'm going next we could go together." I offered.
"That sounds lovely Ms.Melody Kate Decker." He replied with a British accent.
"I'm about to punch you if you don't stop calling me that." I said as we both laughed and headed to the next class.
