It had been a week from the little incident I was trying not to let replay on my mind. Everytime the Crime Stopper hotline appeared on television, my mind wandered back to Mr Assassin Creed. I would just lick the chocolate ice cream off my spoon forgetting that I ever met an deranged killer who killed people for a job in my own street.

It honestly was so busy at the local shopping mall. People were scurrying to buy gifts for their loved ones, or things for the actual Christmas day. My traditional Christmas involved going to an early morning service at my local church and then a warm family dinner. My Mum's family was coming over this year, as usually we went over each year. It was our turn to host Christmas dinner and we needed to get prepared for it. My mother was choosing wines in the liquor section while I was looking on at the Christmas decorations that were hanging above. As I was looking through the liquor aisle, many people were lined up in buying alcohol for the occasion. I passed a guy in a grey hood that covered his face completely who was facing the bottles, probably deciding which one to nick. My mother was finally finished, as we left the liquor store.

We walked past clothing stores, as I tapped my mother's shoulders. 'I need a new dress.' I had a stroll through the racks, and picked some items. The Assassin's favourite colour came into mind. 'Red.' I decided to pick some red dresses and found some that I liked. There was a long red cut out dress at the hips, that had a slit coming down on the left. It accentuated my curves nicely, plus I had large breasts which was pressed tightly against the fabric. I won't wear this to Church, the family dinner should be bearable. I'll just slip an jacket on. I walked out of the dressing room, looking for my mum when I saw Josh Hunters leaning against a rack, holding a few shopping bags in his hand. What was he doing here? Was he shopping with his girlfriend? I automatically couldn't speak whenever I was around him. Though he saw me before I could make a run for it and he was actually checking me out. ' Hey you look familiar? Do I know you?' 'Nice try. Don't you say that to all the girls you meet?' That was actually true. Though he was gorgeous. He chuckled. 'Well Sorry, I'm actually asking you a serious question?' 'Oh. Well yeah. We both go the same school. If you ever noticed.' 'Do we? Strange, I don't think I've noticed you before.' 'Exactly. Why would you?' He sighed. 'Well I guess I haven't looked properly than I should have. I'm glad I noticed you now. Josh.' He extended out his hand. 'I know. I mean every one knows. I'm Rose.' I tend to ramble a lot whenever I meet attractive people. Attractive people like Josh. 'It's a pleasure to meet you.' 'So, are you shopping with your girlfriend?' He looked down at his bags. 'No. It's actually for my sister Natalie. She's looking for dresses for our family dinner.' 'Oh, I was doing the same for my family dinner.' 'Yeah and you look great.' I blushed. Did Josh just compliment me? 'Thanks.' I felt shy. 'Hey, I'm arranging a party for New Years Eve at my house. I think the whole Velvet High would be there. It would be great if you could come. You do have Facebook right?' 'Yeah I do.' 'Sweet. I'll add you and let you know.' Natalie finally stepped out, the equally fab brunette like her brother. 'Thanks bro.' He turned to me and gave me that dimple smile. 'See you around.'

I was so buying this dress. It was my good luck dress. I cannot stop squealing because the most beautiful boy in school noticed me.

As I waited for my mum, I whizzed around in other stores. There was a lingerie store that contained Christmas special undergarments. I honestly wasn't going to buy any, but was just staring at something I could never pull off. I don't think I ever will to be honest.

My mother returned quite late. I told her the dress will be a surprise. Our last stop was the grocery store. While my mum was going through the grocery list, I decided to look for chocolate chip cookies. I was looking through the biscuit aisle, when an sense of movement caught my eye. I noticed the same guy in the grey hoodie who was looking towards me. I couldn't see his face, but no kidding he was staring at me. Great! Did I have a stalker now? I quickly grabbed the first packet I saw and bolted. 'Mum!'
