The ship took off. The Gloom Walkers were strapped into their seats. Bane couldn't stop thinking about Apatros. He didn't want to go back. He would be feared there.
After half an hour, the ship landed on Apatros. Home. He didn't want to fight there. It wouldn't feel right. But Bane had no choice. He ran out of the ship with the other Gloom Walkers. He saw the glow of blue and green lightsabers in the night sky. As he shot his red lasers, the Jedi deflected it easily with their sabers. He saw shuttles come out of huge ships and they started firing at the ground. This is where it got interesting. The Jedi couldn't deflect these blasts as easily.
Jedi and Walkers were flung everywhere as the ships started firing bigger blasts. He saw Gloom Walkers pull out their electric swords made of Pherik Alloy, a saber resistant metal. The Jedi and Walkers fought long distance and close range. This battle was no joke. The ground beneath him started to shake from the force of the blasts. But this wasn't the worst part for Bane.
A green lightsaber turned on in front of him. This Jedi was ready to fight Bane. Bane pulled out his sword and turned it on. Bane ran at the Jedi and made a swinging motion to cut off the Jedi's head, but it was no use. The Jedi sprung out of the air and the saber and the sword clashed. The Jedi's speed and agility was no match for Bane, but he defended himself against the dangerous weapon.
Bane was pushed back by the Jedi's force push and he lost his sword as he was flung back. The Jedi was just about to kill Bane when the Jedi was shot in the back. He fell to the ground, dead. Bane could tell by the number on her armor that the Gloom Walker who shot the Jedi was the same Gloom Walker he had talked to in the room. Amazed, Bane got back up and started shooting again.
The large ship that released the shuttles suddenly released a large laser canon that wiped out lots and lots of Gloom Walkers and Jedi. The ship must've done that to get the remaining Gloom Walkers out of Apatros. This battle was getting much too heavy for the Walkers to stand. Hundreds of ships started to land on the ground as Gloom Walkers started boarding them. Bane got on the closest one and escaped that battle on time. He was glad he didn't die, but somewhere there was deep sorrow in him for all the innocent bystanders that were killed in battle. But he let it slide. He was a soldier now, and he had to accept that things would die.
