The Duel on Doan

Darth Zannah and Darth Bane stood in position. Bane had been waiting for this for a long time. His old apprentice was ready to battle him. Bane ran up to Zannah and their blades clashed over and over. Bane went for Zannah's legs, but she blocked it with her saber. She spun her saberstaff to try and confuse Bane, but he ducked his head and their sabers clashed again. They locked blades and Zannah pushed him back.

Bane jumped on top of the roof of the cell, and they started clashing their lightsabers again until Zannah was at the edge of the building and was at risk of falling. Their blades locked again until Zannah jumped off the end and Bane followed. They both used Force Lightning at the same time, and the lightning clashed. By now it was a test of how long each could stand the power of the other's lightning. 

Zannah was flung back until she hit a rock. Her saber went flying and hit the ground with a thud near her. Bane was just about to stab her when she Force grabbed the saber and they locked blades while Zannah laid on the rock. She retreated from the blade lock and Bane's saber cut the rock in half. He threw the rock halves at her with the Force, but she dodged them. Zannah Force pushed Bane back and he hit the ground.

Bane threw a ball of Force energy at Zannah but she deflected it. She did the same and Bane deflected it. It was clear that the two had equal Force abilities, so Bane ran back to his ship and set off. Zannah retracted her blades. The duel had ended in a draw. Zannah realized that she was not fighting alongside her former master anymore, but she was against him. She hooked her saber back on her belt and walked off.
