Star Wars: Darth Bane

Caleb the Healer

Zannah helped Bane all the way back to the ship. He directed her to take him to the planet Ambria where the healer called Caleb would help him. 

The ship landed on Ambria in front of Caleb's small shelter. Caleb looked at the ship, instantly knowing it to be an old Sith ship. Zannah got out, dragging Bane with all of her might, and Caleb invited them in, even though he knew they were Sith.

Caleb laid Bane down on a mattress and told his assistant, Darovit, to get him some sleeping medicine.

"What seems to be the... issue here, miss?" Asked Caleb.

"He was stabbed in the leg and the side." Answered Zannah.

"And no blood was drawn, I can tell."

"Yes. He was stabbed with a lightsaber."

Darovit brought the medicine to Caleb who fed it to Bane. Bane quickly fell asleep. He then started feeding him various medicines, and Zannah could tell Bane's injuries were getting better.

Zannah could tell through the Force that Caleb didn't trust her or Darth Bane, so she asked where she could get a drink. Darovit led her to a room with different drinks, and as Darovit poured her some water, Zannah secretly looked upon Caleb who was pulling out a transmitter device. He started speaking through the transmitter.

"Greetings, Jedi Master Zenn. I am sending this message to inform you that I have encountered two Sith who came to my house so that I could perform operations on one of them. Please send help immediately."

Zannah took the drink from Darovit, and a plan came across her mind. She used her Force powers to make Darovit think he was a Sith Lord. She sneaked up behind Caleb and stabbed him in the back, killing him. She quickly woke up Bane, now almost completely healed, and told him to hide with her. Soon enough, three Jedi came along and killed Darovit, thinking he was the Sith Caleb spoke of.

"They're dead, master," said one of them, "The Sith are destroyed for good."

They all walked out and left Ambria on their ship. Bane and Zannah walked back to the ship. 

When they arrived back on Korriban, Bane made his decision about Zannah. He was impressed of her plan and decided to Knight Zannah. She was no longer his apprentice, but a Sith Knight.
