THEO P.O.V:
Raspberries. The enticing scent was all I could concentrate on. It was as if the smell was flowing through my body and it was driving me insane.
I looked up in an attempt to find the source of such a warm and welcoming scent only to be met with an ice cold glare that could've left a grown man crying.
She was beautiful. Her luscious chestnut Brown hair flowed over her shoulders in voluminous waves complimenting her glimmering green eyes that sparkled with little flecks of Hazel.
The whole lesson was over in seconds as I spent it all staring at her, unable to think of anything else.
I looked on as she sat in her own little world, she appeared to be drawing instead of paying attention and this unconsciously brought a slight smirk to my face.
I wondered what name could fit such a perfect and pretty women.
MATE. My Wolf growled out to me, but no it couldn't be, I had to make sure.
...
I watched as she rushed out of the door, her hair flowing behind her and I followed in a quick pursuit.
Before I knew what was happening she turned straight into my chest and I looked on in slow motion as she went to fall and instinctively I reached out to stop her.
The sensation that rushed through my arm was unimaginable. My wolf howled but I was forced to push him back down as I desperately struggled to keep my raging emotions under control.
Hiding the shock on my face I kept her upright and before I knew it she ran, but it was too late I had already caught sight of the faint blush that had appeared on her snow-white cheeks.
Once again I followed, this time, calling out to her in desperation as my wolf scolded me for not discovering her name.
For some reason, I was scared which seemed unreasonable and irrational coming from the soon to be alpha. What would my beta think if he discovered that I was scared of my own mate?
Mate.
I knew it was her. My wolf shouting it loud and clearly. Not to mention the overwhelming scent that enticed me and the tingles of pleasure that flowed through me from a single touch. We were mates.
The word in itself was enough to spend a spike of pleasure racing through my entire body as an image of her enticing eyes appeared in my mind once more.
I finally caught up with her and managed to get my words out asking her for her name and her reply, despite being one word was heavenly.
She had glared at me again but she appeared less menacing than before as she spat out her answer.
"Bree."
Just as I went to talk again she left running and leaving me, my wolf howling and aching for her. I had only just met her and I already felt empty without her.
...
I had finally arrived home, my wolf fighting to get out, as he was already desperate to see my mate again, I walked out and let my wolf take over, my bones cracking and morphing into my large and menacing wolf.
I ran through the forest allowing all my emotions to run through me, I let nature embrace me and collapsed beneath a tree drifting in and out of my thoughts.
"Perimeter breach, we need you at the pack house" my beta mind linked me, his worry apparent from the situation.
I ran back, stress-free and grabbed some clothes from beneath a tree, morphing back and changing into a pair of black skinny jeans and a plain white tee only to be faced with the slightly amused smirk of my father, Alpha Malone of the Merriweather pack.
"So, what's up son?" a knowing look placed itself upon his face.
I groaned before grudgingly replying
"I found my mate"
My mother who had been hiding behind the door squealed in excitement and rushed out to embrace me only to jump up and down while doing so.
"So who is she?" my mother squealed out to me in a high pitched, over excited voice.
"No one just a girl at my school, but she doesn't know and I'm pretty certain she hates me already."
I could feel my disheartened expression plaster itself across my face but I coughed as a sudden attempt of covering it up.
I stormed inside the pack house nodding at my beta as I stormed into my father's office putting my dear mate out of my mind so I could concentrate on the rogues that had dared to cross into our territory.
My father entered seconds later, sympathetic but solemn, he watched my carefully as if waiting for me to break down. Then once he was sure I was stable he began the meeting.
As alpha and me being future alpha, which is the leader and strength of all our pack, it was imperative we discussed my mate who was to become future luna and take over from my mother.
You see Alpha and luna rule over a pack together and are authorative. Any orders given must be followed and we are given great respect. I needed to introduce my mate and soon.
...I was roaming our borders in Wolf form, trying to identify any rogues that had not yet been discovered, when I heard a gentle sob coming from my right that shattered my heart.
I followed the sound, I was on edge but my wolf for some reason did not seem worried.
The reflection in the Lake revealed the sobbing human that up until today I had never before seen and yet the sight of her crying was enough to rip me to shreds.
The moonlight only just allowing me to make out her petite and tear ridden features.
Bree...
