THEO's P.O.V.
My mum had forced me to take a break and clean myself up, which sent my Wolf into overdrive as he felt unable to protect my mate but I knew she was right.
I hopped into the shower allowing the boiling hot water to cascade down my skin, wiping away all grime and any scent as a result of the dirt.
I let the bubbles soak into my hair, taking my time to think and memorise my mates precious face.
A smile spread across my face and had anyone seen me smiling to myself they would've laughed for it was a funny thing to see.
I climbed out, drying myself off and picking out a pair of black joggers and a vest before grabbing the largest packet of crisps I could find and running back to the hospital.

I watched as her eyes fluttered open, but her peaceful expression lasted a mere matter of seconds before she sat bolt upright.
She started me right in the eye and I rushed over to her as she attempted to move out of bed.
"No, you need rest."
I was clear and to the point as I ensured my mate rested until she had fully recovered. I needed to speak to her, to find out the name of the bastard who had dared to hurt her, but until she was better that could wait.
She glanced up at me, the shyly looked down and I instantly recognised that something was bothering her.
"What's wrong sweetheart?"
Once again she looked down, fidgeting nervously before spluttering out "I.. I just i.. I don't r.. really like ho..hospitals."
The most adorable blush rose to her cheeks as she stuttered through her words but instead of replying to what she said I pulled her into my arms and began a slow walk to the pack house.
She didn't make a noise, just continued to look around curiously.
"You know you look sexy when you blush"
I whispered gently in here heat, a slight smirk upon my face. She gasped and blushed again but just as she looked as though she was about to smile she stopped and all of a sudden her face became emotionless.
She had barely said a word to me but I already had her all figured out and I knew something was wrong, now all I had to do was get her to confide in me.

My beta (and my best friend, Aaron) walked past, he gave me a joyful smile winking when he saw me carrying my mate.
She glared at him as we walked past and he looked taken a back for a second.
'She's just protecting herself'
I mind linked him, a solemn look crossed his face as he nodded in understanding before replying,
'When you're done with your mate the alpha wants us in his office.'
I simply nodded in agreement before proceeding to my room.

I lay her down watching as she drifted into another peaceful sleep. My betas mate, Grace, walked past and before she could leave I shouted out.
"Grace! May you do me a favour please? I need someone to keep an eye on my mate."
She turned on her heel and bowed her head before letting out a giggle, winking at me and assuring me by saluting me and stating
"Yes sir"
I shook my head amusement clear on my face as she headed back in the direction of my mate and I proceeded to my meeting wondering what my father could possibly need.

GRACE's P.O.V
I had never been more excited in my life, finally I had someone who I could make friends with other than my mate.
Don't get me wrong I love my mate but hell I every girl needs a girlfriend or two to keep her company.
Not to mention that much of this pack was very serious and they all respected me too much to attempt to make friends with me. Stupid female-beta position.
I laughed to myself which must've creeped her out as her eyes fluttered open at that very moment and she looked at me as if I was crazy.
"OMG HEY I'M GRACE" EEKKKK!! "I'M SO EXCITED TO ACTUALLY MEET YOU"
I screamed at her, probably terrifying the poor girl but at that though a mischievous smile grew on my face.

BREE's P.O.V:
Oh god help me. I'm going to be killed by a crazy women and no one will ever know.
She never stopped grinning and before I knew it she had jumped on the bed and was hugging me causing me to immediately tense up.
Who in hell would hug me?!? I plastered a nervous smile on my face before briefly whispering
"What's g..going on? "
Proud of myself for only stuttering once I had my smirk and watched as she continued to grin in a menacing way.
Then she screamed the three dreaded words..." we're going shopping!"
