Chapter 5

Aspen pov)

I followed the two girls back down the hall and up the stairs stopping at the first door on the left which was just a normal white door like all the other ones Jane quickly knocked on the door and stepped aside, "whatever he asks just say no" once Jane finished her sentence the door opened revealing a boy with a blue hoodie black plants and a navy blue mask. "Hello Jane clockwork.....who this?......did you bring me a snack?" He said leaning against the door frame holding a tiny thing in hand which looked like a scalpel. "No Jack this is Aspen she going to be staying with us for now on and *No* you can't have her kidneys!" Clockwork said giving him a glare. This Jack guy chuckled as he twirled the scalpel in his hands, "I didn't ask you did I....." He stopped and pushed himself off the door frame, "Can I have them?" He said looking directly at me. I swallowed still not exactly not knowing what he meant and just went with what Jane told me "no" I said being very flatline.

He just shrugged and walked back into his room before turning to face us, "it was nice meeting you Aspen.....I'll be keeping an eye on you"

(Time skip)

Once we were done meeting everyone clockwork left to go do something which left me with Jane who seemed very quiet. I yawned and sat down on the floor even if there was a chair next to me it just felt more comfortable luckily I wasn't questioned by Jane who finally let me have some time to myself. Some things just seemed a little off, everyone was to nice except for stalkers in this place which I'll have to watch for and if they were what they stated they were "killers" I told myself in a low voice wouldn't they have killed me by now? I was pushed out of my thoughts as Slenders voice echoed into my head, "Children dinner is ready!" He called out from I guess the kitchen I guess that was it was called that's what clockwork said.

I watched as Jane and Ben walked passed me and into the hallway as I lingered behind but not to far. I walked looking down as I went watching my tail in the shadow next to me move back in forth but I failed to notice the shadow next to me inches away till a arm wrapped around my waist pushing up against the wall making me face them. I meowed in surprise and looked up seeing the white outline off a white hoodie and jet black hair.
"You know I don't go by Slender rules..." Jeff spoke in a deep voice getting closer to my face. I pulled my ears down, "but slender said-" Jeff cut me off as his free hand made its way towards my face holding a 8 inch knife pointing it at my neck. "Like I said I don't go by rules cat" he chucked and looked at me straight in the eyes "Do you mind Go.To.Sleep!" He called out pushing the knife forward. To my instincts I kicked him away and sended my claws out using one hand to attack him with instantly hitting him the face once he caught balance leaving three claw marks on the right side of his facing making his permanent grin bigger. I watched as he stood up straight holding his knife tighter in hand, "You just made a wrong choice cat!" He growled jumping at me not giving me enough time to react before he jumped at me knife first landing in my right arm making me hiss. I pushed him off and pulled the knife out of my arm "I can leave you know!" I shouted trying to strike him with a knife but to my lack of fighting I missed and hit the wall next him. He chucked and kicked me pulling me away from the knife that was now in the wall I hit the ground under me before opening my eyes seeing Jeff with his knife back ready to end me with one hit. "You know......it was fun while it lasted...you couldn't leave anyway even if you wanted to, you know of our existence" Jeff said slowly walking forward towards me.

I just kept scooting back across the wooden floor till my back touched the wall now we were at the end of the hallway. I swallowed and pulled my legs towards my chest and let my tail cover my shoes which sucked because they were hard to walk in unlike my other ones. Once I looked back Jeff walk only standing feet away holding the knife above his head, "Go.To.Sleep!" I meowed and closed my eyes grabbing the nearest thing near me to block the hit and waited for the worst.

(Bens pov)

I looked around the table seeing everyone seated except Aspen and Jeff who should have been here by now well Jeff Aspen right behind us. I hummed and started thinking about her, she was nice and looked hot even more after Jane and clockwork gave her a new look I didn't say anything because there may be a chance she didn't like me because of my introduction of myself. I sighed and put my finger to my chin "Wait? Was I falling for a girl I just met?" I asked myself as I moaned knowing this is just like Disney love stories. I was pushed out of my thoughts when one of Slender's tendrils landed on my shoulder "Child please don't think about that stuff at the dinner table......and she barely knows things so try not to over do anything to scare her....she is part cat so she could hurt you if she wanted to" Slender said though my thoughts instead of saying it outloud. I opened my mouth to say something but the sound of yelling caught my attention and everyone else's it sounded like Aspen's but then a deep loud one came after wards which easily sounded like an angry Jeff. I instantly looked at Clockwork and Jane seeing them already out of there seats heading towards the door of the dining room. I got up from my seat and ran after them so did everyone else Slender already teleported away. Once in the hallway I looked left seeing Jane and Clockwork's figure and then Slender then ahead of them them the shadow of Jeff's arm coming down with a knife.

(Aspens pov)

I waited......nothing I kept waiting by nothing happen I slowly opened my eyes seeing the blade of the knife inches away from my face with white stuffing stuck to it from the pillow I held for perfection as my claws sank into the thread making a tight grip. Jeff was pulled away from me as Slender stood over me holding the boy up in the air almost hitting the ceiling. I pulled the pillow down seeing everyone I met looking at me surprised, "Child are you ok?" Slender says still giving Jeff angry stare. I just nodded and held the pillow tightly in my hands, "everyone go back and eat I'll deal with Jeffrey, Jane, Cockwork please take Aspen to her room as I settle things" Slender says before disappearing in thin air. Everyone went back into the other room except for Jane and Clockwork who were told to stay.

I sighed and looked down, "what am I getting myself into" I asked myself in my head as Jane and Clockwork walked closer but I had no answer for my own question. "So what just happened?" Clockwork asked putting her hands on her hips I laughed and smiled, "long story short....I almost got killed" for some reason It sounded funny. Jane chuckled and bent down to my level, "Yeah you'll have to get use to almost getting killed in this place you're going to be living with a bunch of killers.....now do you mind handing me back the pillow" I nodded and handed over the pillow before standing up picking stuffing from my claws. I followed Jane and Clockwork to a spare room they had which Clockwork said wasn't that special but to me it was, it had a bookshelf, nightstand and well normal stuff you'll need in a room. I walked into the room as they followed in behind me shutting the door behind me, "So what did you do to make Jeff so angry?" Clockwork asked leaning against the door making a black shadow on the floor I moaned and gave her a glare. "By being alive and is his victim that isn't dead.......I don't see why he didn't kill me once I got here" Clockwork was about to cut me off but I kept going "Like really I don't know anything like what the heck is this?" I pointed to a square paper looking thing on a shelf then at the fluffy thing until the middle of the room with black sheets. "Also!" I kicked off the shoes had on and held them in my hand, "how can people walk in these and is there use to them except putting them on your feet" I took off my jacket and set it on the chair next to me as my thoughts went through my head, "You're bleeding" Jane says walking over to me. I just shrugged and looked away, "So....it doesn't matter...." I mumbled loud enough for them to hear. "Do you know how many people Jeff killed with that knife you could be infected?" Clockwork said walking into the connected bathroom. I watched as Jane looked at my arms mumbling things under her breath before Clockwork came back with a first aid kit and orders me to sit on the thing called a Bed. I looked up at both of the girls and sighed, "I know it will need stitches I had them before....... but I'll do a trade off you can stich my arm but you need to teach me stuff
