Candor or Dauntless

Chapter three

Lynn POV

"Lynn, you know it." Will says quickly ending our fits of laughter. "Dauntless." "Break up the first couple in the hallway that you see." I shrug, then stand up. Christina and Tris get up as well, and so does Four. "Let's do this!" I shout, and run out the door. We walk around the compound, looking for a couple, and then I see one. Two Abnegation, dressed in gray. I get tris and fours attention, since they were all lovey dovey, again, and tell them I'm on the move.

They watch me walk past singles and individuals, trying to see who I'm after, then they spot the couple about to kiss. I still can't see their faces, but I can see that one is dirty blonde, and the other has brown hair. "Excuse me." Pick say worming my way in between them. "Oh, I'm sorry." The woman says. I roll my eyes, and walk forward, then turn around. Then, I begin to walk back towards them, and just as their about to kiss again, I worm my way through. This time they look at me, and is head a gasp escape from someone behind me. I look at four and tris, but they're not there. I scan the area around them, and see tris sprinting at me. "Beatrice?" The man asks. Tris engulfs the man in a hug, then the woman, and four walks over towards us. "Beatrice, do you know these two?" The man asks. "Yes, dad, this is Lynn and Four." "You're her instructor." Her mom says, "correct?" Four nods, "ex-instructor, initiation just ended." "And they're dating." I say nudging four. "You know, four, you look familiar." Mr.Prior says. "Mr.prior, I have never seen you in my life, Sir." "Please, call me Andrew,Four." "Four, if Andrew and I both think we've seen you before, would we possibly know you?" Mrs.Prior asks. "No, I don't think so Natalie." "You're lying, Four." Christina says. "What?" He asks. "Okay, we should go." I say. "Oh really, I think I should speak to my son." A voice says. I look at four, and see abnegation's leader gripping fours shoulder. "Right, Tobias?" "Tobias? Tobias Eaton?" Natalie asks. "No, I am not your son anymore." Four, or Tobias, whoever he is declares. "What's going on?" Andrew asks.

"I'm Tobias Eaton, I transferred from Abnegation." Tobias-Four-says. "Get the memory serum, Tris." He says to her. "I'm confused." I say. Tris jabs the needle into Christians neck, and she collapses into the ground. "Don't be, you won't remember anyways." Tris says then jabs a needle into my neck as well.

Tris POV

"Bye, mom,dad." I say, then haul Christina's body onto my back. "Okay, get Lynn." I tell Tobias. He stands frozen. "Tobias?" I shake him. "What? Huh?" "Let's go." He nods, then lifts Lynn onto his back. Christina groans about halfway to the apartment, then when we arrive, they stand up. "What happened?" She asks. "I don't wanna know." Lynn says. "I'll be right back." Marlene says. "Perfect time to strike." Lynn says. "Uriah-" "dauntless." He says strumming an air guitar. "Okay, I'm scarred for life," Lynn says, "I dare you to get down on one knee in front of Marlene, then tie your shoe, make it look like you're proposing." He stands up, and Marlene walks back in. "What'd I miss?" She asks.

Marlene POV

Uriah walks up to me, and he gets down on one knee, looking at me. Tears fill my eyes, and I smile slightly. He bends down more, and begins to.. tie his shoe.. "I thought you were proposing to me!" I shout at him when he stands up. "No.." He says. I slap him, making everyone laugh. "It was a dare! That's rude!" I shout at them, I finally give in, and laugh with them.
