I freeze and stare at my screen. Panic fills my head, and I stand up about to head to my room. Aunt Thea stops me before I can do anything, "Explanation. NOW."
I sit back down, in some sort of daze. "I know you were drunk and all, but Tommie? Tommie of all people, your drunk butt chooses Tommie!?"
I stare at her in disgust, "No! Thea let me finish! I was gonna give you the long story about how Tommie kissed me, then Jackson fought with me about it, and then I later went to apologize to him, and then we um... yeah..."
Her face changes from disgusted to shock. Speechless she just stares at the floor. "Oh... So Jackson's the dad? Not Tommie?"
"Yup."
She suddenly jumps up in the air, "Oh my gosh I ship it!"
"Aunt Thea!" I burry my face in my hands as she happy dances, "Gah, grow up."
She stops and fixes her hair. "Sorry. It's just I have been waiting for you guys to hook up for so long and honestly, I'm so glad he's the dad."
I blush at the thought of Jackson and I together, but then my aunt stops, "Wait, you did tell him right?"
"Yeah about that." I explain the whole story to her and when I'm done she looks at me like I've grown three heads.
"Are you insane? You can't just push him away Giselle. I know you love him, and I could bet my whole life that he loves you. I think that this whole thing is ridiculous, and he's gonna march his butt over here and tell you this."
At this my heart wants to agree, but that raincloud of doubt hangs over my head. He may care about me but that's not going to change the way others think. Everyone looks up to him; he's high up there with Tommie and all of the popular guys. But being stupid enough to get a girl pregnant, especially a nobody like me, it could ruin his whole reputation.
Besides, everybody sees us as brother and sister, so that just makes things really awkward right?
"Giselle, I know you're having some doubts, but I bet you if he has the feelings I think he has for you, he is going to come over here any day now and tell you he still loves you and that he is ready to have a family with you. Trust me." Just as these words leave her mouth the sound of knocking on our door echoes through the house.
My breath stops and my heart starts beating faster. Is he really here? Aunt Thea's words go through my head. If he really loves me he'll be ready to have this family. My aunt nudges me to the door, and I slowly head over and reach for the doorknob.
As I open the door, my mind goes blank. This can't be happening. Is this real? Standing on my front porch is none other than blue eyed, brown haired boy with that annoying blue stripe in his hair.
"Tommy?" I stare at him completely surprised.
"I heard you over the phone, and I'm ready."
"What?" This cannot be happening!
"Giselle, I'm ready to raise this baby with you."
