In the eyes of a Dreamer

"Mommy, where are you taking me?" I asked as my mom and dad guided me through a crowd of people.

She stopped me and turned me towards her and healed onto my arms as she looked me in the eyes.

"You have such beautiful green eyes." Mom said.

She pulled me into a hug and I could feel her tears dripping off her cheeks and down my back. She picked me up and I had my arms wrapped around her neck and my legs around her waist.

My dad soon joined in on the hug. But as soon as it started it had stopped and my mom was putting me on a train.

"I Love You."

Those were the last words that I heard my mom say before the doors of the train closed and I was moved to a seat along with a bunch of other kids. I looked out the window and saw my mom and dad standing in the same spot that they were when I was put on the train.

The train started moving slowly forward and I watched as my mom and dad broke down in tears, as they watched their four year old daughter getting taken away from them on a train, with a bunch of other kids who were getting taken away from their families.
