In the eyes of a Dreamer

The love between

"You have the most beautiful green eyes." Luke said as he pulled me in and kissed my lips.

I felt a tear trickle down my cheek. Remembering my mother say to me that I have such beautiful green eyes. I remember the feeling of her tears falling off her cheeks and onto my shoulder and then running down my back.

I slowly lifted my had up to my chest and grabbed onto the necklace that my mother gave me the last day that I saw her. I slid my finger over the words that were engraved on the necklace.

'The love between a mother and her daughter is forever.' The necklace said.

I could feel more and more tears now streaming down my face and now touching Luke's hand as he started to pull away.

"Let's get you home." Luke said as he stood up and lead me out the door and to his car.
