In the eyes of a Dreamer

There gone

"Hey, you up?" Megan asked as she knocked on my door.

"Yeah, I'm up." I said wiping my eyes.

"Rough night?" Megan asked.

"Yeah." I said looking down at the wooden box that was on the ground.

"I'm sorry, I know it's hard for you to think back to that day." Megan said as she walked over and gave me a tight hug.

"There dead." I whispered as I cried into Megan's shoulder.

"I know, I know. But they did this out of love and to keep you safe." Megan said as she rubbed my back.

"Luke came by earlier this morning to check up on you." Megan said.

"He did?" I asked as I wiped away the tears on my face.

"Yeah, he is a really sweet guy. I think that you two should go hang out again sometime." Megan said.

I got out of bed and the wooden box back under my bed before getting into the shower.

Once I got out of the shower I wrapped my hair up in my towel and got dressed. I put on a floral dress and some cowboy boots along with a pink scarf and an owl necklace before heading down to breakfast with the rest of the girls in the house.

It was Rachel's turn to make breakfast and she made us all pancakes with bacon and eggs.

Soon we all headed out to our classes for the day before we all met up at the little cafe on campus at 3:00.
