This takes place when Mr. Williams gives Sarah to 'Grant'

Jareth's POV:

She was so scared, I almost cried. I almost hugged her and kissed her and cried. It was a ridiculous idea of mine to try to stay away from her for a few days. I couldn't even go a few hours without seeing her. She looked at me like she was ready to pounce when her father said "Yes you are Sarah." I could tell how reluctant she was to follow me anywhere without her father. It pained me to see how much she didn't want me near her. I almost spoke to her through my head but decided against it. She would probably freak out. Or cry. Or both.

I led us the her old bathroom. She wouldn't let me within a foot of her. She probably thought I was working with my father. As soon as she stepped in I closed the door, and everything around me softened. Then I spoke. I was nervous.

"Sarah I know you're scared but this is the only way I could get your father to trust me." I reached out my arm and she flinched back, so I stepped closer. She was looking at my eyes and I remembered something. That was the one thing about me I couldn't change. Suddenly I was glad for it. She jumped and kissed me and the glamour came off.

She had her arms around my neck and I was running my hands up and down them. I could feel how happy she was and how much she had missed me in they was her lips pressed to mine. The only downside was she tasted like tears. I pulled back. She whined.

I laughed. "Did you miss me so much that you cried?"

She gave me a little glare. "No. Rega and Gareth wanted me to find your body and when we found it you were-"

"My eyes were different. That's how you knew I was alive. Very smart."

"Exactly. But if you're you then who was that?" I waited for a few seconds. Then she gasped and looked at me. "You killed your father?"

"Are you mad about that?"

"Absolutely not!" She dried her face and kissed me again. It was deeper this time. More meaningful. Knowing that one of our enemies was dead took a weight off of both of our shoulders. I could feel. Then her dad knocked on the door.

"Damn. That man has worse timing than the cat who decided it was time to follow his dreams." She laughed.

"Quick put your glamour back up."

"Fine."

"I have a plan." She paused. "Give me another minute dad!" She turned to me all serious. "I'm going to pretend-slap you, but I'll make a noise. Then I'll start yelling about 'you' beating and how I was never coming back. Dad will come in and ask what happened and I'll take you to your 'parents house'. Okay?"

"Sure."

"Okay go."

She slapped me. Not so hard but I pretended to grunt. "You were mean and vicious and you beat me every day and I can't believe you ever thought I would come back here!" She looked at me.

"But Sarah, I can't-"

"Shut the fuck up, or I swear to god I will-" Her dad came barging in.

"Sarah? Grant? I-"

"Dad. Let. It. Go. I'm taking him home now, and I'll come back and explain later." She moved over to me and grabbed my ear like my mother would. "I'm taking you home." Her dad was stunned. I suppose it was because I just followed her.

As soon as we got into her dad's car, she let go. I winced and rubbed my ear. "Did you have to drag me like that?"

"It added something dramatic." She threw her hand in the air, looked at me over her shoulder and did a little shake. I just stared and we both cracked up. At least some good had come out of this.

I don't think I've ever done a whole chapter narrated by Jareth, so here it is. And I now have readers in The U.S., Australia, The UK, The Philippines, Italy, and Norway. Thank you. Thank you very much. I love you all!
