So I figured that since I haven't updated in a month I would be nice if I wrote you a chapter. Finally.

-----------------------

Sarah's POV:

We fumbled each others shirts on together, and stood up. GRANT!

I could feel Jareth leaning forward, and I pulled him back. He wouldn't.

"Jareth! I can handle this."

He might have been growling under his breath, but I couldn't hear him from the amount of force he was putting onto my arms.

I whimpered, but not trying to be too loud. He still heard me. He took his eyes off of Grant, and looked at me, fearing he had broken something. Grant had a smug look on his face.

"I'm fine. Let me talk to him."

"Yes Jareth. Maybe if you let her talk, then we won't hurt her yes?"

"You. Grant. I'm. Not. Finished."

He held his hands up and backed off in a sarcastic way.

"It seems your divorce is treating him well."

"I'll talk to him." He let go of my arm. I tried not massage it as I walked back to Grant. He was extremely strong.

"You. Out. Now. You filthy pig."

"Aw. Did you miss me?"

"What happened to you? I realize you were awful to me but what about everyone else?"

"Well Jareth's dad opened my eyes to something."

"What is that?"

"No one owns me, and no one can tell me what to do," He twirled his finger at my face "Especially you."

I gasped, and pushed his finger down. "Now why are you REALLY here? To come and taunt us." Jareth moved up to me and slid his hand around my waist, just hovering his fingers like he could break me.

"No. A war. I need some place to stake my claim, and this seems like the best place. Easy."

"I assure this place is not easy Mr. Grant. I do care about this place, as does Sarah. You can try. It won't work."

"Then what would you call what I have already done to that large dump outside the palace walls."

I could feel the tingling behind my left ear that meant Jareth had transported us to somewhere. Probably the dump. I hoped that awful lady wasn't there.

I don't think it could have been worse. Grant had positively blown up and removed all of it, and started building what looked like another empire for himself.

I don't think I gasped loud enough.
