"I worry a lot about you dear, I worry that the police will take you away! " said Stan's gradma.
" haah! you have nothing to worry about mammy, these policemen can't even touch your grandson, let alone taking him away! Said Stan.
"Stanley brown! What you're doing isn't right. It may be for the right reason but still I don't approve of it!" Said mammy.
Stan knew every little emotion, facial expression or even the change in the tone of his mammy's voice and when ever his mammy called him by his full name, he knew that he was in deep trouble. He didn't feel scared out of fear but out of love and respect for that marvelous woman. She was really old, pale and wrinkled but she was always in a sane mind and knew what she was talking about. She wasn't like the usual grandmothers. She had the best sense of humour and never missed to squeeze in sarcasm at the right times in a conversation.
I myself loved her a lot. She treated me like her own son and never once made me feel out of place. I'm an orphan by birth so i never knew the feeling and warmth of parental love but mammy made up for all the love that was never found.
