" He's stealing! Catch that man" said a fruit seller
Stan was doing what he usually did, stealing for the orphanage. Like everytime he was sure he wouldn't get caught but it didn't work out for him that day. The police was tracking him for a few days and knew all his whereabouts. While trying to escape into the crowd, a fist coming towards him knocked him unconscious. The next time he opened his eyes he was in the police lockup.
Stan knew he was in trouble but he cared least about it, for the man he had become. He knew that he wouldn't have to stay there for long because the seriousness of the crime wasn't that much.
Something bad had happened back home and Stan wasn't aware. I was afraid to tell Stan about all this Considering his past attempts at ending his own life. It wasn't something that could be hid from him so I thought if he should hear it from somewhere, it should be from me. Mammy had passed away.
