Dinner

Spencer's P.O.V

Laura is so desperate, she wants every man in this building, she has a shit personality no wonder no one wants her. I look down on my watch 4:30? I've only been sitting down for 20 minutes, it feels like I've been sitting here for 2 hours.

This sudden idea pops into my head, I'm going to go see Toby, and if anyone says anything I'll say "it was for work" I mean we are working in the same place. I make my way towards the door and freeze, speaking to myself-

Spencer: (opening the door) I should go. Yeah I should go.

Spencer: (closes the door) nope. I can't risk it.

Spencer: (opening the door) I'm going, I want to see him.

I make my way out the door, and head down the hall, I see his door open, I wonder if his in there, I take a deep breath and I make my way towards the door. I peer through the windows, great. Look at my luck, Lisa and Laura are all over him, his mine back off.

I knock on the door, Toby's jumps up and walks over to me.

Toby; is something wrong Mrs.Hastings?

Spencer: I was wondering if you could help me with the case for Kara Brett? You don't have to I just want-

Toby: my pleasure.

We just stand in front of eachother smiling, his blue eyes glowing, his grin getting bigger, we didn't even realise Laura and Lisa were standing there, until Laura made a stupid noise.

Laura: (clearing her throat) Spencer, Toby. Why don't we go out for dinner?

Since when did we call our boss by there first names? If anyone has the right to call him Toby it's me, because his my Toby.

Spencer: (hesitating)  I don't think I can.

Toby: me neither, sorry.

Laura: ( wincing) please it'll be really fun I promise.

Spencer: really I-

Lisa: please.

Spencer: okay. Toby- Mr. Cavanaugh are you coming?

Shit, I hope no one caught on that, this is many of the reason why we shouldn't date in the work place.

Toby: (small chuckles) yeah,I'll come.

Laura: great let's head out.

Spencer: let me go get my bag and I'll be there.

Toby: yeah I left some paper work in Mrs.Hastings workplace, we will meet you in the car?

Laura: yeah alright.

Once we head out the door, I tell Toby to keep walking while I hear Laura and Lisa speak-

Laura: there's something going on between them.

Lisa: oh come on, Spencer? No she's way too good for that. Dating the boss is a big risk.

Laura: why did she call him Toby then?

Lisa: because you called him Toby.

Laura: I'm going to find out, when we arrive for dinner.
