Chapter Thirteen: The Escape Plan

Me and Link and are sitting up against the wall, tired and sweaty.

"Nice fighting. You are pretty good with you moves." He says to me breathing heavily.

"Thanks, so do you." I say doing the same thing. I think I have spent the last two days either practicing my powers or training with Link.

Me and him have actually become friends despite the one time at the lake.

"Hey, do you wanna go on a walk or something? Get out of this hell hole for a little." He says looking at me.

"Would Zalgo even let me leave?"

"Yeah, if you ask. He really likes you. You are like the son he never had."

My heart dropped. I'm like the son he never had? Wow.. he actually said that? Zalgo, the Lord of evil and stuff?

"Oh, wow...."

"Yeah, anyways, I'll go get him." He says then walks off abd comes back a few scones later with Zalgo.

"What is your question Jake?"

"Well, Link asked me if I wanted to go on of walk... I was just wondering if it was okay with you?" My heart starts to race. What if he freaks out for me even asking him that question then kills me or curses me. He told me about the curses he could do, very, very bad curses.

"Of course, I have rules though. Don't go too far, don't try to escape, don't pull any funny moves, ig you do, I will hunt you down and let Clockwork abd her friends deal with you."

"O-okay.." I say. He actually said yes. Well he also threatened to kill me but that part is resonable.

"Wait, before you leave." He says and walks over to me and puts his fingernail against the skin behind my ear and a feel a pain there for a second then it's gone.

"There, now we can talk telepathically. Just in case something wrong happens or anything."

I nod smiling.

"Alright, also, don't be out for too long. I'll tell you when it's time to come back."

We both nod.

"Thank you, again." I say as he starts walking off.

He just nods at me and smiles a little. He actually smiled, and it didn't look as evil as it usually does.. wow.

Me and Link leave the building, me following him. I can finally get a breathe of fresh. It feels so good.

"Alright let's go! I want to show you my late. How fully this time we arn't trying to kill eachother." He says laughing as I do the same. "Hehe yeah."

We both run to his lake, me following him of course because I don't know my way around here at all.

Once we get there I stare at it in aww. I didn't really get that good of a look at it because I was fighting almost the whole time.

There is fog and trees all around it and the lake is glistening of darkness. It's so cool looking.

"Here, grab my hand." He says.

"What?"

"Grab my hand." He syadp urging his hand out.

"Um, okay." I say shrugging blushing a little. I grab his hand and he jumps into the water pulling me in.

After a few seconds of swimming in the dark water we enter a cave leaving the water.

I was about to yell at him for not warning me that we were about to jump into the water when I get distracted by glistening crystals all over the cave. Light were hanging from the roof of the cave.

"Whoa.." I look around and see a little area were a few blankets and pillows.

"Yeah, I sleep down here every now and then when I get annoyed of the Hell hole." He says noticing that I was looking at it.

"I love this place!" I say exited.

He laughs a little at me. "Thanks, I have known this place for a while. I only added the sleeping area abd the magical lights. I had a little help with those though."

After a while of talking with him Zalgo alarms me that out time of freedom is up. Ugh, dang.

"Alright, Zalgo said it's time to go back." I say.

We were both sitting in the sleeping area just talk. It was quite nice.

We get up and we jump back istsnto the water and he leads me back to the top of the water.

Right whenever we start to head back, we hear someone running through the woods. I was about to summon my axe but he stopped me. He grabbed his sword.

'Zalgo, we have a problem!' I think to Zalgo.

'What is it?'

That's when Hoodie, Masky, and Toby appear from the trees and attacks Dakr Link knocking him out. "Link!" I yell out.

"Come on! We need to go!" Masky grabbed my arm and started pulling me to the mansion.

'Masky, Hoodie, and Toby came to get me! They knocked Link out!'

'What! I told you no tricks Jake!'

'U didn't plan this! They just showed up and took me. I'm so sorry!'

Honestly, I'm kinda sad that I'm going back to the mansion. I mean all I do there is sit around, get made fun of by Jeff, and live with a guy that broke my heart.

At Zalgoes, what? I guess it looked kinda like an old asylum. Anyways, there he sacrificed his own blood for me. I made a new friend with Dark Link. I've been training more, too. I mean yeah at first it was torture, litterally, but it's actually not that bad. Zalgo was starting to warm up on me as I was doing to him.

'Great, it's fine, Jake. But I will get you back sooner or later.'

'Alright, I will need to talk to you later. We are entering the mansion.'

'Okay, talk to you later. Just remember, you are my proxy too. Don't tell them anything about what happened here.'

'Okay.'

"Jake! I am so glad you are back! Are you okay?" Slenderman says to me walking up too me.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Okay, good. I shall be making a special dinner for your return."

"Alright, can I go get some rest?"

"Of course you can, I'll tell you when dinner is done."

"Thanks." I say leaving off to my room.
