Last night was a tough night. You couldn't get back to bed and mostly just stayed up on your phone. Now that is daytime though, you realize just how exhausted you are. You drowsily waddle into the kitchen and sit down. "Hey kid? Is everything alright?" You hear Sans's deep voice ask.
"Uh yeah, I just didn't get much sleep last night. Don't worry I'm fine," you respond back, trying to make yourself look a little less tired. "Ok, but if anything is bothering ya, you can tell me," Sans says and goes to heat up some of Papyrus's inedible spaghetti.

After having a cup of coffee/tea/whatever caffeinated beverage you would like, you feel a little better. Chara's words still terrified you and you know that you wouldn't be getting much sleep for the next couple of days. If only you could give Chara what she wants without hurting anybody. As you sit on the couch you hear Sans and Papyrus talking upstairs.
"HE/SHE/THEY DOESN'T LOOK VERY HAPPY TODAY SANS, IS SOMETHING WRONG?" You hear Papyrus's very loud voice say. "I don't know Paps, I'm gonna try to cheer him/her/them up. Don't worry about it," says Sans quieter, more deep voice. You hear footsteps on the stairway and turn to see Sans standing there. "Hey kid, can I talk to you about something at Grillby's?" He asks nonchalantly. "Sure," you respond.
"Here I know a shortcut," he says. As soon as you walk out of the door, you two have already arrived at Grillby's. You gasp and then start,"Wow, h-" "Magic," he interrupts simply and walks over to the barstool. "So kid, how are ya feeling? You don't look too good," he asks in a concerned tone that is kind of cute. Damnit, there it is again. That stinging in your chest. I will not ruin this friendship with some silly crush you think angrily to yourself. "Uh kid? Why'd you make that face?" He asks confused. You hadn't noticed that you had scrunched up your face into a disgusted expression.
"Oh, sorry. Nothing's wrong, I'm fine," But you say it so quickly that it sounds exactly like a terrible lie. Which it is. But you weren't going to admit that to him. He sighs and responds,"You don't have to lie to me you know. I can help you. You don't have to hide everything from me. I'll respect your privacy but if there's something you need to tell me, please don't hold it back." You feel your heart sting a little bit. He actually cares about you. You just smile and shake your head. With that you head back to the Skelebro's house.
