4 years later
4 long years had passed, and Dipper was tired . He was lonely. He was missing Pacifica. Over the course of those 4 years , the Californian drought had gotten worse and the Pines family had a hard time scraping up money to send the kids back to the place they once called their second home. It had taken a while , but finally , during his 11th year of highschool, Dipper had gotten a few side jobs and earned enough money to buy a bus ticket for himself, as well as have a few hundred dollars on the side to use at his own expense. Mabel had also gotten into the working business , starting a babysitting company with a few friends. With the money she earned she used to buy herself a ticket as well. She also used most of the money up to her a whole knew wardrobe and new art supplies , but that isn't important. Together , the summer that the twins turned 16 , would be the summer they would go back to the place they treasured most.
