Will Solace POV
At the moment I was currently standing by my bed unpacking my bag, humming to "Time Lapse" by theFatRat. You see, many people don't know this about me but I'm actually a very organized person and take great pride in keeping my stuff at top condition.
Ha, just kidding. I got you didn't I ? Truth is, Clint told me before I went to my room that he'd be coming in there to look at my bow. Right now, I just can't really stand to call him my uncle. For multiple reasons actually:
1) He pulled a bloody arrow out of my arm without even apologizing!
2) Everything just seems so strange, I mean one minute I'm going to go visit my mom at the apartment and the next, I've moved into Avengers tower.
3) This may sound sappy and lame but using uncle for someone who I barley know just seems so wrong, I mean my mom has always been there for me and now she's just gone. It's just so weird, add the fact that I barley acknowledged her death because of what's going on right now.
As I thought this, I realized my cheeks were wet. I'm crying. But hey, crying over your dead mom isn't a BAD thing, so don't judge. Just then, Clint decided to walk into my room.
"Hey Will, how's it go- errrr, are you okay?" He asked me.
I mumbled a fine through my lips and wiped my eyes.
"So" I said taking in a deep breath, "You wanted to see my bow?" I continued holding it out to him. He nodded and gingerly took it out of my hands. He whistled lowly.
"Dam (see what I did there), where'd you get this bow? I should think about getting one made for myself by the same guy." He said impressed.
"Well the bow is actually homemade, but if you think that's cool, then you should see the fart arrows my friend Leo made." I answered grinning.
"Okay that's it, you are coming down to the training room right now and we are gonna have an archery contest." He said, grabbing my wrist and dragging out of the room and towards the 'training room'.
This is gonna be a long day, I thought.
