ManikThe two days went in a jiffy and all I did was finding clues about Nandini. I thought Cabir would call or text me to tell that Nandini is back or may be since, now most of my friends know how I felt about her back then, someone would definitely tell me about it but nothing of that sort happened.
One reason could be because they don't know it still matters to me but how come Cabir didn't talk to me about it.
I kept on searching all the social networking sites also but their was no sign of activation on any of her accounts. I went on checking all of her friends' posts in hope to find any status or picture regarding her come back but no, there was none!
I couldn't understand the reason behind this. I couldn't be hallucinating her! That has never happened with me but if she is really back why didn't she meet any of her friends? This just doesn't make sense to me! Because there's no way her friends would not make the entire world know that they are meeting their best friend after 4 years!
I just hope I get all the answers today in the reunion party! I have a feeling that it will be one hell of an evening.
Something major would definitely happen today and I'm sure, maximum chances are of Nandini's come back in our lives. The thought of it was enough to bring a sense of happiness and excitement inside me but at the same time, the thought of her moving on and having someone else in her life frightened me! It would have been still okay if she would have never come back, but now that she's back, though I'm still not sure but most probably she is, I have this urge to make her mine forever. Confess all my long hidden feelings, shower her with all the happiness that she deserved but I snatched away from her, to make up for every single drop of tear that her eyes shed and her heart wept.
I smiled to myself and opened my diary that was reserved only for Nandini. From the day I saw her to the day she left, it had every single emotion that my heart felt for her, because of her.
'Four years passed since I last heard your voice Nandini, since I last touched you, felt you near me.
I still remember your eyes filled with the intensity of pain and agony, looking at me. There was so much that they wanted to convey to me that night but instead of listening to them I waited, I waited for the right moment, and for the sun to shine bright the next day. Because at that time, I was sure about us. And I wanted to welcome the most important happiness of my life with the serenity of a new day. And that day, I would have told you everything, I would have made you mine but the morning that followed the night wasn't how I dreamt it to be. That morning I was told that you were gone. Away. It was then I realised what your eyes really wanted to let me know.
Those eyes are the reason why I could never move on. They still haunt me Nandini. They still do.
But. Not anymore.
This time I promise I won't let you go. I promise I will love you, be with you, protect you and there will be no pain, sadness, separation or any kind of negativity in our lives, only happiness would embrace us. And your big doe eyes would only reflect joy and felicity!'
I closed my diary smiling wide. My heart flushed with my thoughts about 'us'. I knew it won't be easy to get her back but now I'm not afraid of anyone or anything. I don't care what people would think even if I would have to act like a love sick Romeo. Though, I don't even know if she still feels for me or not, she could have moved on but that doesn't mean I won't try. I know her real happiness is with me and I am ready to give that to her. I'll fight the world to make her mine but I won't give up on her for the world!
