*Katie's POV*
December
"Katie!" my older sister, Sam, yells and hugs me.
"Hey, Sam!" I say, hugging her.
"It's been far too long!"
"I know it has. But you're here in Nevada while I'm over in England. It's difficult to travel all the time."
"I know it it. I just wish I could see you more!"
"Auntie Sam!" Jordan yells and hugs his aunt.
"Hey, Jordan!" She looks at him. "Gosh, you're getting so big! What are your parents feeding you?!"
"Fertilizer." Louis tells her.
"Makes sense. Of course, I think that's what you've been feeding both of them. Mariah's getting so big too!"
"That she is." He kisses her on the forehead. She's sound asleep.
"Louis, why don't you take her upstairs to Katie's old room so you don't have to carry her around." my mum tells hm.
"Okay." He heads upstairs to put her down for a proper nap.
I know Christmas with my family is kind of awkward for him. I mean, he's kind of the odd person out. But he takes it well. He knows how much it means to me.

"Mum, why'd you and dad decide to have all of us here for Christmas?" I ask my mother while helping her with dinner.
"We thought it'd be fun to have all of our kids and grand-kids here for Christmas." she says.
"If you think this is crazy, you're going to call your Uncle John insane." dad tells me.
"Why?" I ask.
"Because he wants all of us to come to Minnesota next Christmas."
"Define all of us."
"All of his kids and grand-kids, all of us in this house, and you Aunt Nancy, her kids, and her grand-kids."
"You're right, he is insane. Why don't you just deny that you're related to him?"
"You're acting like you're 17 or 18."
"Yeah, and look at who I'm married to and how he sometimes acts like he's not much older than his son."
"She's got a point there, Tom." mum tells dad.
*Louis' POV*
"Alright, Tomlinson, your turn." Tyler, the oldest of Katie's older brothers, says to me. He's always intimidated me a little bit.
"Game on." I say and smirk at him If only he knew how good I am at pool.
"Cocky one, aren't we?"
"Yep."
It's weird that I'm the youngest of this bunch. I'm usually the oldest, or one of the oldest.
Five minutes later and Tyler, Chris, Seth, and Jake are all in shock.
"Did you seriously think the British boy couldn't play pool?" I ask them.
"What?! No! Who said that?!" Chris asks.
"I'm about to say something when I hear someone coming down the steps. I look over and see Katie holding a crying Mariah.
"What's wrong?" I ask her.
"I don't know. She won't stop crying. Both my parents tried to get her to stop crying too." she says.
"Come here, baby girl." I pull her out of her mother's arms and gently bounce her up and down. "Shh, sweetheart. It's okay, daddy's here."
