*Louis' POV*

"Daddy, you and mama still gonna be here in the morning?' Jordan asks me as I'm putting him to bed.

"Of course we are! We aren't going anywhere." I tell him.

"Just you and mama right?"

"Mariah's here to stay too buddy."

"Hmph."

"You remind me a lot of  another little boy."

"Who?"

"Me. I was not happy to get a little sister. When it became four, I was very unhappy. But now I love those four annoyances to death."

He looks at me with a concerned look on his face.

"It means I love them a lot."

"Oh."

"Yeah. Now,time for bed."

"No."

'Yes."

"No!"

"Yes, now under the covers."

"NO!"

"Jordan Andrew Tomlinson."

"Fine." He grudgingly gets under the covers. He's a smart kid. Knows that there's no point in fighting when he's called by his full name. Something that still terrifies me to this day when it happens to me.

"There we go!"

"Night, daddy."

"Night, buddy."

I quietly walk out of his room, turning the light off,and shutting the door behind me.

"Did he finally go to bed?" Katie whispers to me.

"Finally." I tell her, "Did you get Mariah to sleep?"

"Yeah, just a few moments ago after a bit of arguing." I wrap my arms around her waist. "That means we've got a little time to ourselves.

"Babe, I've hardly had any time to sleep since Mariah was born and I won't be getting much while you're on tour. Please just let me sleep while I can."

"Okay."

*Katie's POV*

I'm woken up by Mariah's light whimpering. It shortly becomes on full fledged crying.

"I got it." I mumble getting out of bed.

I go to my daughter and pick her up out of her crib. "Sh sweetheart, what's wrong?"

She keeps crying and I sit down in the rocker.

Once her crying's calmed down, it feels like someone's staring at me. I look up and sure enough, Louis is staring at me. He quietly gets out of bed, walks over, and kneels on the floor.

"How is it possible that the two most beautiful girls in the whole world are in front of me?" he whispers.

"Well, one's your daughter, you better think she's beautiful." I tell him.

"And the other's my wife. Of course I think she's beautiful."

"You're so cheesy. But it's a cute cheesy."

"I'm going to take that as a compliment."

"Good, because that's what it was."

He shakes his head a little and smiles at me.

"I'm going to miss you while you're on tour." I whisper.

"I'm going to miss all three of you." he says, "Maybe we should just stop touring."

"Are you crazy?! You are living your dream."

"I know. But I'd still be living my dream even if we did."

"What?"

"You. You're the woman of my dreams. I couldn't ask for someone more perfect than you."

"I'm so not perfect!"

"And that's what makes you perfect."

"Hey, she's fallen back asleep."

"She has."

I put her back to bed and go back to bed myself.

Louis crawls back into bed and wraps an arm around my waist.

"I love you." he mumbles.

"I love you too." I reply.

AN

Admit it, if you were married to one of the boys and you had a kid or two and he said that maybe they(as in him and the rest of 1D) should stop touring, that you would ask him if he was crazy.

That's what I would do.

Oh, and Katie and Louis' house is a huge one. Like one of those were the master bedroom is like the size of a small house and there's like five other bedrooms and a home movie theater inside and potentially a pool-there'd most definitely be one outside. And a huge-ass yard and maybe a long-ass driveway. That kind of house. Picture of their house on the side.

Sorry about my language. I'm sure I've apologized before. But, you know, my dad's a US Marine. And you don't swear like a sailor, you swear like a marine.

Love you all!

Au revoir my petite croissants!
