*Katie's POV*
"Ashley, when do you think Sydney's going to say her first word?" I ask as we walk outof Starbucks with coffees for us, Meg, Perrie, and Dani.
"I don't know. Probably soon, her birthday's coming up quick." she says.
"Ten days!"
"Jordan's is in three!"
"I know it is!"
"Katie, we're so sorry!" Meg says.
"We tried to stop her, but we just couldn't!" Perrie continues.
"Oh no." I sigh when I see Dani with at least a dozen shopping bags.
"What?" she asks.
"Please tell me not all of those are for Jordan"
"They're not."
"Thank God."
"This one's for Olivia, this one's for Brayden, and this one's for Liam." She shows me the three bags. The three smallest bags, each one smaller than the one before.
"How many bags do you have?!" Ashley asks her, sounding amused."
"15." she says.
"15?! You bought 12 bags of stuff for my son?" I ask her.
"Yeah. Its just that he's going to be three and that's when they become fun to watch while they're opening up presents! I should kno, Olivia's six, Brayden's three. Not to mention nieces and nephews. Plus, it's the least he deserves since his daddy can't be here. And what kind of godmother would I be if I didn't spoil him at at least once?"
I shouldn't argue with her, she does have a point. On all her arguments.
"At least his godmother's here. My poor Sydney's not going to have her daddy or her godfather here." Ashley says.
"Aren't the guys just great fathers?" I ask slightly sarcastically, "Three of them will have missed their kidsbirthday by the time they get back from the tour."
"You're right, they will." Perrie agrees.
*Louis' POV*
"Hey buddy, happy birthday!" I say when I see my son's face via Skype.
"I free now daddy!" he says happily.
"I know! You're getting so big."
We sort of talk for a little while longer, but it's difficult, he keeps getting distracted. Something tells me he's going to be considered ADD, if not ADHD, when he's older.
"Sweetie, it's time for your nap." Katie tells him.
"No." he whines, "I talk to daddy."
"Buddy, you'll see me again really soon. I promise." I tell him.
"How soon?"
"In less than a month."
"Okay."
"I'll be right back." Katie whispers.
"'Kay." I tell her.
A few moments later she returns, with a sleeping Mariah in her arms.
"How're my two favorite girls?" I ask her.
"We're fine." she says.
"Just fine?"
"I miss you, Louis! You have no idea how difficult it is to take care of a toddler and a baby by yourself! I need you back here!" I can hear the urgency in her voice.
