The Broken Luna

Chapter Two

Xander's POV:
As I walked down to the cells to see a female rouge that had passed onto our land this morning. When I was walking past the cells my Beta and Gamma were telling me about the rouge that she looked about my age and was badly bruised and beaten when they got her.

They thought that she may have been running away from her pack. When I got to the cell I saw a girl with softly curled brown hair covering her face. She looked at me with bright blue eyes, when her eyes met mine my wolf Cameron was yealling excitedly " MATE, MATE GET MATE!!" I felt my eyes turn black and I yelled "MINE".

I ripped the cell door open and reached toward my mate, but when I did her eyes rolled back into her head. I picked her up and cradled her in my arms, I carried her out of the cell and told my Beta to tell the pack doctor to be expecting a patient. I walked out of the cells and went to the pack doctor Lucy, when I walked in with the girl in my arms the look of shock covered her face.

She started running around grabbing things as I layed the girl on the examination bed. Lucy soon came up with the medical tray and said "You should leave Alpha" I growled in response, but then hesitantly left. When I stepped out I saw my Beta Jacob standing there. He asked me " Why did you react that way with the rogue, she was just a dirty rouge " I growled and pinned him to the wall and said " SHE IS MY MATE" He looked at me and said "Okay I'm sorry I didn't know that she was your mate, by the way congratulations you finally found your mate"

I let him go and went to my office to see what belongings my mate had with her when she crossed onto our land. I saw on my desk in a box was a small, ripped up duffle bag. I unzipped it and saw dirty, ripped clothes , and some other things. I mindlinked my Beta and Gamma saying " What side of the border did you find the female rouge " My Beta replied saying "On the east side sir when she shifted it looked like she had been badly beaten before we found her" I growled at the thought and cut off the link. Another link echoed through my mind saying "Alpha it's Lucy you need to come help me calm the girl down because she's having a panic attack" Right when I heard that I was out of my office and at the doctors door. When I opened the door my mate was curled up in a corner with tears streaming down her face and Lucy was standing there with a frantic look on her face. I walked over to my mate and wrapped my arms around her .

She stiffened but then relaxed, I looked over at Lucy and asked " What did you do to her" Lucy replied saying " I didn't do anything I was just about to give her a shot, but then she woke up and started panicking ". I looked down at my mate still wondering what her name was. I took her shoulders and turned her to face me then asked her " What's your name angel?" She looked at me and said in a small voice " Angeline s-sir" I replied saying " A beautiful name for a beautiful girl, and my name is Xander ". She nodded then asked " What are you going to do with me?" I answered " Well I'm going to get you taken care of then you can move into my house".

She looked at me shocked then whispered " I-I d-don't even know you though" I replied " Well then you can get to know me". She nodded and I let Lucy get back to taking care of her. I looked back into the room as I walked out then mindlinked Lucy saying " Mindlink me if she has another panic attack okay" Lucy said back " Okay sir". As I walked back to my office there was a squeal loud enough to shatter glass.
