Angeline's POV:
Me and Xander were sitting at the table getting to know each other when a girl about my age walked into the kitchen then screamed when she saw me sitting at the table. I didn't know who she was so I thought that she was sent to take me back to Alpha James. I got up and ran behind Xander, feeling tears already coming down my face. I wrapped my arms around his waist, burying my face into his back hoping that he wouldn't let the girl take me back. I heard him say something about scaring me and should have been more careful and quiet. The one girl called out saying "I'm so sorry Angeline I didn't mean to scare you I was just really excited to meet you, I'm Bethany by the way "
I peeked around Xander's shoulder and saw her staring at me with concern . I whispered in Xander's ear "Who is she, Xander?" Xander replied saying " That's my younger sister, and she can be a little loud sometimes" I stepped out from behind Xander and gave a little wave to Bethany. She squealed and said " OMG Xander she's so pretty, can I take her shopping today as in right now, please, please, please, Xander" I felt a hand wrap around my waist and pull me backwards. Then I heard Xander growl " She's Mine" I saw Bethany laugh and then say " Oh my gosh alphas are so possessive, I hope my mate isn't an Alpha" Xander growled a bit then he nuzzled his nose into my neck inhaling my scent.
I sighed and leaned back into his chest. After a few moments I asked Xander "When will I be able to play and run around with your wolf" He replied " Soon but I want to get to know you first"
