There was this boy. He always sat in the library, his head in a book. He wore thick glasses which perfectly framed his face and his hair colour was forever changing. One day it would be green, the next purple but, whatever the colour, he looked amazing.

He didn't really care about what he wore but he looked cool in anything. He wasn't exactly friendless, people loved him and his loud personality but, for some reason, he always chose to sit alone.

Phil didn't even hesitate when he pushed the door open to the library and walked over to the colourful boy sitting at the back. "Hello. I'm Phil Lester. Can I take a photo of you?"

"Of course you can! I'm Tyler Oakley. Need a little of me in your life? Sure. I'll take anything except.. actually no I'll take any photo you want." Tyler chuckled, making Phil smile; Tyler's laugh was so beautiful and contagious.. it was amazing.

"All you need to do is smile. It's for my photography project.. We need to take photos of things we find beautiful."

"You're calling me beautiful? That's amazing! You're beautiful too!"

"Thank you." Phil held up his camera and squinted as he looked through the lens. He then snapped the photo, thanked Tyler and left.

Phil stared at his computer screen, trying to figure out if there was anything to edit. Joe's face didn't exactly have any blemishes, it was entirely perfect.

The filters didn't even improve the photo, the natural photo was amazing as it was.

He decided to leave it, completely unedited. Joe was perfect.

The boy from the other day was being pushed around in the corridors and all Phil could do was watch. His dark fringe had fallen over his face but Phil could still see how red he was and the fact that tears were threatening to fall down his cheeks.

Phil desperately wanted to step in and yell at the annoying group of boys but he couldn't. He was going to be late for history and Phil Lester was never late for anything.

-

Caspar noticed that Phil was sadly watching him and a couple others shove Dan around, yelling rude words every so often. "Hey guys.. GUYS!" Caspar yelled once he noticed that Phil looked more than upset when he turned around to walk back down the corridor.

"What?! Can't you see we're busy?!" Caspar's friend laughed and he smirked once he saw how agitated Caspar looked.

"I think that's enough! We should probably get to class.. None of us really need any more detentions."

"You're right, mate." One of the guys playfully punched Caspar's shoulder as the wandered away from the poor boy who was now leaning against a locker, tears trailing down his cheeks.
