There were a few kids which never ever did PE. Running made them want to throw up their lunch so they always sat at the edge of the field, their music playing so loud through their earphones that most people predicted that they would go deaf by the next year.Phil was one of them. He tended to lean against one of the fences, blasting Fall Out Boy and Green Day at a dangerously high volume as he watched people run laps and kick a ball around. Today, however, his main focus wasn't music, it was his photography. He had his eyes set on a particular blonde boy with a perfect fringe and generous blue eyes like the sky.
He had long paused the song (Green Day's Minority (aka one of my favourite Green Day songs!) if you were wondering) as he stared at the other boy. He was aware that it may appear creepy but he didn't care. He slowly approached the boy who had his eyes shut as a song blasted from his earphones. Phil easily made it out to be Fall Out Boy's Hum Hallelujah. (aka one of my favourite Fall Out Boy songs!) He then tapped the boy on the shoulder, a smile on his face.
"Excuse me? Would I be able to take a photo of you?" Phil asked and Luke frowned, taking out an earphone. Phil repeated himself but this time with an explanation too. The boy nodded and Phil reached out, grabbing his camera. He slipped it out of its case and quickly took the photo. "Thank you.. Remember, you're beautiful." The boy smiled at Phil and neither noticed a particular brown haired boy glaring at the pair.
Luke then went back to his music, as did Phil. The boy, however, couldn't help but carry on staring at Phil.
He understood the project and everything but he didn't think Phil entirely understood the weight on his shoulders. Happiness is never found as easy as people thought.
The boy refused to have his photo taken by Phil because he wasn't beautiful.
And it was people like him which made Phil's job much harder.
I hope you've all had a good day :)
