Phil and I are sitting on his bed. It's quiet but a nice kind of quiet. He get up and shuffles through PJ's seemingly endless pile of textbooks, notebooks, and random scraps of paper which clearly have no order but seem to be placed in a specific position. Their entire dorm just screams creativity and I feel inspired just being in it.  "Is it okay if we go to my room afterwards, i need to drop some things off?" I ask.  Phil nods and walks over to me with three notepads.  I flick through them and their filled up to the brim with dozens of notes and doodles on each page, back and front.

We walk through the corridors at almost a snails pace. "so who's your roommate?" Phil asks, putting his hands in his pockets and looking at me.  "I.. don't know," I say realizing my roommate didn't actually tell me his name.  Phil gives me a confused look which ushers me to continue.  "Well.. he didn't actually tell me his name,".  Phil nods and continues walking. Turns out my room isn't that from mine, maybe five minutes away. When we get to the door, Phil squints at the number.  I get my key out and turn the handle.  I open the door and a pungent smell of Marijuana hits us.  Phil's face contorts in disgust as he follows me into the room.  When we walk in we see my roommate on top on a girl, shirtless, making out with her profusely.  I decide against making eye-contact with my room-mate, and walk over to my bed to put the books from PJ away.  I grab my backpack and put my wallet, keys, and law books in them so when Phil and I are done, I can go straight to class.  I turn back to Phil who is looking rather awkward standing in the door frame.  He's looking in every other direction besides the bed until his eyes meet me.  I mouth the word 'sorry' to him but he just shakes his head and we head out.

"I am so sorry, Phil, that was so awkward," I say like a blubbering mess.  He just laughs and shakes his head again. "So where are we going?" I ask him, trying to change the subject.  He just turns and winks at me and I can feel a tingly feeling in my stomach.  I follow him out onto the schools playing field, trying to keep up with him as much as I can as he jogs along in front of me.  I get slightly worried as all of the football players give us weird looks whilst we trek the rim of the field.  "Phil, wait," I say and grab his wrist.  He turns round but doesn't stop, only slows down to a walk.  "yes pretty boy?" he says with a mischievous grin on his face.  I shake it off to address my worry.  "Aren't we supposed to stay clear of the field whilst there is a lesson going on?" I say knowing what we're doing is wrong.  I realize I'm still holding onto his wrist, mainly so I don't fall behind too much.  I let go of it hastily and he turns around and starts jogging again.  "No we're not but technically we aren't if nobody sees us," he says.

"Phil there is an entire football team just staring at us!" I say.  I'm getting very worried now; not only am I unaware of where we are going, but I've only just met this guy, how do I know this wasn't just a huge joke.  Pretend to be friends with the lonely guy and then put the blame on him.  I stop in my tracks and try to find any kind of sign that this might be happening. Phil must notice as he turns and looks at me dead in the eye.  "What I meant was anyone of authority," He moves slightly closer to me.  "If a teacher doesn't see us then we won't get caught.  It's not like any of the brainiacs will think to tell anyone, they'll be too busy pumping up their muscles to even think about us," He continues which brings a smile to my face slightly.  "which is why we need to hurry up, because there will a teacher out here soon and we wouldn't want you excluded on your first day here, would we?" he says with a smirk and a glimmer in his eyes.  I don't know what is it that tells me to trust him but I have a feeling it has something to do with those eyes.

I sigh and follow him to the back of the field where we are met with a metal cross-wired fence.  He crouches down and begins to roll a part of the fence up slowly.  Before getting it to a standard height, he gestures for me to crouch down as well and I do so.  "Okay when I roll this up you're gonna crawl underneath it and I'll follow, don't worry it's safe. I give him a worried look but nod anyway.  He rolls it up just enough for me to get under and through and as I'm midway through he ushers me to speed up a bit. Once I get through with much struggle, Phil follows as if it's routine to him.  We both stand up and dust our jeans off.  I look around us and we're standing in a forest.  It's strange to think that when you're 6 ft tall you can ever feel small, but when you are surrounded by trees that seem to touch the sky it's not so impossible.
