I watched on in horror at the scene that had unfolded before me. Blood. Blood was everywhere. Dripping from the bed onto the oak floors as it slipped between every crevice, every crack. The rope supported her head but if it weren't for that I knew how broken she would look. Her eyes were vacant and all pain that had once been there was now dead along with her.
My wolf cried out, agonising pain ricocheted through her but for once I did not feel it.
I was numb. Unable to move I just stood and stared, my face was blank and the only thing giving away my anger, my disbelief was the slightly tremor that rocked my hands.
My wolf broke and the last I heard of her was the shattering of her heart.
My only family... Dead.
