The next day at Kalani's school was as dramatic and hectic as ever.
There was a new girl, a blonde with a pretty face and shy personality, and Kalani heard her name was 'Brynn.'

All Kendall's little minions instantly became obsessed with learning more about Brynn, and followed her around like a stray puppy. But as you guessed, Kendall wasn't happy about her 'friends' following someone else around, so she took matters into her own hands.

One second Kalani personally witnessed Kendall, all prettied up with makeup and fancy clothes, enter the ladies restroom, and a second later came out with dripping makeup and messy hair.

Kendall's minions instantly lost all interest with Brynn, and ran to her.

"Kendall! What's the matter? Are you okay? What happened? Are you hurt?"
They instantly pelted her with questions, and she silenced them.

"G-guys, my mom came down with a horrible case of cancer last night, and is probably dead."
Lied Kendall, making Kalani snicker.

Kalani wanted to tell Kendall that someone doesn't just 'come down with cancer' and die all in the same night. That's what you get for not doing your homework.

They all gasped in unison and gave her a hug, to brick headed to realize everything she has ever said was a lie. Kalani giggled again, not wanting to make a scene and laugh out loud. Just because she was a bully doesn't mean she doesn't have feelings, according to Kalani.

"Hilliker, why are you laughing? This is serious! My mom is probably dead with that horrible cancer she got last night!"
Howled Kendall.

"Yeah, how dare you!"
"Your life is perfect, don't laugh at those who's life is not!"

They all threw insults and rage at her like stones, so she decided to make Kendal feel good and go along with it.

"I'm very sorry about your mom, Kendall. I really hope she gets better. Also, do you know what kind of cancer she has?"
Asked Kalani.

She was just trying to find a way to nicely prove to those girls this is a sick joke.

Kendall flashed her a death glare, but never said anything.

"Oh, stop making her upset. She has already had a rough week."
Cooed one of her little servants.

As Kalani walked to Nia's locker to say hello, she saw Nia was talking to the little blonde, Brynn.

"Hey, Nia."
She said, walking up to her.

Nia's eyes brightened and she waved to Kalani.

"Hey! This is Brynn, she moved her from Arizona."
Said Nia.

Kalani smiled.

"I'm from Arizona, to!"
She beamed.

Brynn shook her hand.

"My name is Kalani, and you seem nice."
She said.

Brynn smiled, she didn't look like to type to talk much.

"Did you hear Kendall's cancer lie?"
Asked Nia.

Kalani nodded.
"That's mean, considering some peoples parents have cancer for real."
She said back.

"My mom has stage three..."
Whimpered Brynn, keeping her eyes fixed on the floor.

Kalani and Nia eyed each other before reaching over and hugging Brynn.

Than they heard Kendall's heels click.
