Third Person PoV
"A plan? Kalani Hilliker has a devilish little plan?" Smirked Brynn. "Who are you and what did you do with Kalani?"
Kalani laughed and tapped at her chest where her heart would be.
"She's still here, just trapped inside for a little while I take care of this problem." She replied, and the three of them nodded.
"So, what exactly IS the plan?" Questioned Nia, thoughtfully taking a bite of her turkey sub.
"Alright, so Tate let me in about how close they are to narrowing the search down. I will admit I'm afraid, but we need to get this slide of everything she's done together, and fast. Brynn, you're practically tech Jesus, I assume you can most likely put it together?" I asked, and Brynn smiled and nodded. "Fabulous. In the meantime, when I'm with Mrs. Gills for office aide duty, I can find a way to hack the TV's and smart boards to play the video." Kalani said, and they all stared at her like she just told them she was going to kill their families.
"That brings me to my next point. We're going to need all hands on deck for this project. Are you all in and willing?" Kalani glanced around at the three, who all nodded.
"I mean, I don't know you very well, but I'm always willing to fight the good fight if it happens to be taking Kendall down." Said Tate, and Kalani smiled at her.
"Good. Brynn, I'll need you to sneak in during 5th period, while I'm an office aide, to help with changing things and getting the video everywhere. Nia and Tate, I'll need you guys to find a way to make sure every teacher has their smart boards on during this time so every classroom for sure sees it." They thought for a minute before nodding again, obviously processing it all.
"One problem Lani, Mrs. Gills is going to be at her computer. There's no way we'll be able to work on it without her noticing." Brought up Brynn, and she smiled and winked.
"Laxatives, my dear friends. She eats her lunch during that time, so leave it to me to make sure she'll be on the next train to the ladies restroom during 5th." Kalani replied, and they all bust out in laughter.
"Kalani, you're slipping the school secretary with laxatives, Tate and I are coming up with a way to get all the TV's on, and Brynn is leaving class to hack screens throughout a tightly secured building?" Gaped Nia, and she smiled again.
"The best part of this plan is that it's so crazy it may work." Whispered Tate, to which Kalani agreed.
They got up from their spots at the deli and walked to Nia's car, all piling in even though that's technically illegal since she's only 16.
Old Kalani would've hated this.
But old Kalani isn't here right now.
Kalani decided her nice personality and attitude would only be on temporary hiatus, to resurface again once this fiasco was taken care of. For now, she was enjoying being a bad girl. It was a nice change of pace.
Nia drove the whole group back to her house to further discuss the plan, they were shooting on taking action on Friday, and since it was Tuesday, they had a lot of work to do.
Nothing bad girl Kalani and her kinda-bad girl friends couldn't handle.

I haven't updated this book in over a year, and I'm sorry this chapter is so bad and short. I'll hopefully be finishing this up, my deepest apologies for leaving you all on a cliff hanger for a year. I suck. 😂
