Although she wanted to type g a mean comment back to Kendall publicly,  she instead decided to direct message her.

Dear Kendall,
You're a disgusting little brat! I hope you kill yourself, or fall down a hole, or all of the above. You are a fat lard and don't deserve to live, nobody likes you.

Kalani smiled at her message, a sickening, devilish smile she never though would cross her face.

She smirked as she hit the 'send' button, and watched her message load on screen.

"Kalani!" Kira called. Kalani groaned and hit her fist into her mattress.
"What do you want, mom?"
She growled back. There was a moment of silence, as though her mom was taking in that her daughter just talked disrespectfully to her. Kalani loosened her fist, and threw her phone on her bed, running out of her room.

"Mom, what?" She hissed again, getting frustrated at her mother's silence after she had called her down.
"Kalani, you've never talked like that. Are you alright?" She croaked.
Kalani sighed, kicking at the carpeted stairs and looking at her feet.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Perfectly fine."
Tears almost spilled down her face, when she picked herself up and snapped her head up. "Now, what do you want?"
Kira held up her hands in a playful defeat.
"Jeez... Don't kill me. I wanted to know if you wanted chicken or tilapia for dinner."
Kalani just rolled her eyes and turned tail to walk back up the steps without a word.

"Chicken it is, then!"
Kira called after her.

Kalani slammed her door and sat down gruffly on her mattress. Her arms were crossed and her face was scrunched up like a rat.

Kalani sat in the same angry position for a half hour, punching her fist into her headboard every time she felt herself cool down. She liked the anger. She liked over exaggerating. She liked yelling at her mom. This new, angry sensation made Kalani devilishly smile again.

This had opened a whole new world, a new door.
She liked it.
