*THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW FOLLOWING TEREZI'S STORY LINE*

*TIMELINE BEING WHEN TEREZI WAS SIX YEARS OLD*

Terezi let out a heavy sigh as she peered out of the window and watched the blur of greens and blue wash by, never getting a chance to admire the beauty of nature as they made their way across the country.

Terezi was sitting in the back seat of the car with her mother, father, and older sister. Her mother had gotten a job offer that would pay really well, and her mom was excited about it, but Terezi was indecisive about the matter.

Terezi was happy that her mom was happy, a kid mimics the parents emotions, but she was upset for having to leave her old school and make new friends.

She was sitting in the back, behind the drivers seat, where her father was sitting, and Latula (Terezi's older sister) was sitting behind their mother, located in the passenger side seat.

This is made pointed out because as the car they were in was driving through a green light at a stop light, a large semi truck hadn't stopped, and crashed into the left side of the car, directly hitting her father, and crushing her in the process with his seat folding back. She hit her head really badly and her window shattered, sending shards directly towards Terezi's face.

Specifically the eyes. She was blinded and never recovered. The scars still remain on the edges of her eyes.

Her father was killed instantly, her mother and sister were fine, only the more minor injuries that healed in good time.

And Terezi was envious.

She couldn't see a thing and she was so young, there are so many things a kid has yet to see in the world, and she got that chance taken away from her, along with her father.

Her mother was very strict when it came to certain things, but her father on the other hand, was a complete goof-ball. He was always there to push Terezi a little higher on the swings or be at the other end of the see-saw when no one would join in with her.

He was her best friend, and just like that, he was taken from her.

One of her favorite memories of her dad was that he always wore this ridiculously bright red baseball cap on Sundays, and every Sunday with out fail, he would wear it. No matter what occasion were to come up, he used to call it "Scarlet Sundays."

Terezi's favorite color was always red, even when she didn't realize how important it was at the time.

On Sundays, Terezi locks herself in her room and doesn't leave. While in there, she would wear the baseball cap and would listen to the old home movies they had when she was growing up, before the crash.

It really took a great toll on Terezi, and as the years went by, it only got worse. At her new school, the kids found out about the crash and typically it was filled with the normal apologies and hugs.

But there was this one kid, he would make fun of Terezi every chance he got, no matter if she was sad or not.

He continued this on for almost everyday he could, and she just couldn't tell what she did to make him hate her like that.

Of course when she met him, she was shocked by his rude behavior, seeing as how his twin sister was so nice to everyone. Terezi and her became pretty good friends through out the years, but as the brothers pestering got worse, Terezi started to avoid the two altogether.

To this day, his words find their way to her ears and remind her of the pain she has.

She distanced herself from her mother and sister, her mother always had her head up and acted like it wasn't a terrible loss of a family member, while Latula tried to pretend he was never in the picture. It always angered Terezi, there she was mourning everyday over her father and her own family couldn't even acknowledge that he was alive in the first place.
