Dave suddenly got up off of the ground and dusted his clothes off before continuing his way on into the school building. He tried to fix his hair while walking through the halls, unknowingly searching for Karkat.

Suddenly Dave remembered that Karkat was in his first period the last time he went through this day. Dave got excited and stared walking as quickly as he could through the halls.

Making it to the classroom, Dave abruptly stopped at the door and searched the room for the brunet, but came up short.

He huffed in saddness without realizing and turned around looking down both sides of the hallway.

It was mostly cleared by now and it made it easy to spot Karkat walking into an art class with a schedule in hand. Dave ran down the hall and made it to Karkat within seconds, stopping the male.

Of course Karkat was on nerve from the mornings incidents, so naturally the short boy screamed in utter surprise.

Turning around, Karkat suddenly glared as soon as he realized it was Dave who scared him.

"What the fuck is you're problem?!" He yelled out, causing the attention of a few students, but not enough attention for the said students to continue watching the two.

Karkat groaned in annoyance and stormed off into the art classroom, being sure to close the door behind him.

Dave sat there scratching his head like a mindless ape, at this point he was starting to act like one, and turned on his heel towards his first period.

As he sat down in his assigned seat, the bell rang. But Dave paid no attention to it as he sat there trying to understand how something was different from yesterday.

Or- today-

NEVERMIND!

Dave groaned in frustration and put his head down onto his desk, but quickly sat up when the teacher began the lesson for the day.

Dave nonchalantly sat there pretending to listen to the teacher until the bell rang and he gathered his things then walked out of the classroom with his hands in his pockets.

Making his way to his second class, Dave noticed that Karkat was passing him in the hallway, going in the opposite direction as Dave

Dave suddenly turned around and was now waking along side of Karkat. The said boy looked up at the taller and gave him a nasty glare.

Karkat scoffed and started walking faster, gaining a few feet between the two awkward teens.

Dave smirked, thinking Karkat was taunting him in a playful manor and soon caught up to the brunet.

This made Karkat angry, even more so than usual.

Karkat picked up the pace and soon Dave repeated his action.

The faster the two got, the more they stopped noticing the important things around them.

Like the fact that they ruining all around the school, the fact that the bell had already rung, and the fact that they ran into the section of the school that was currently under construction.

Karkat was about two-three yards ahead, but then he quickly looked back, ignoring where he was going.

Dave saw what was coming up ahead of Karkat and started to freak out.

"Karkat! Watch out-!" Dave let out a loud gasp as he watched Karkat fall out of an open window.

On the second floor.

Dave ran down the stairs near by and ran outside to Karkat as fast as he could.

When he got to the smaller, Karkat was already sitting up and looked awful.

His nose was bleeding, his arm looked to be dislocated, he fell into a bush so he had leaves all over him and in his hair.

Dave suddenly felt a sharp pain of guilt stab him in the chest, directed at his heart.

He tried to help Karkat up but Karkat backed away, cradling his bad arm and looking up at Dave utter horror and fear.

Dave fucked it up again.

Karkat stood up and ran away back into the school and probably to the nurse, if not then to go and tell on Dave.

Dave ruffled his hair and clenched his jaw from being pissed at himself.

'How did i fuck up just as bad again?!'

He stuffed his hands into his pocket and felt something that wasn't there before.

He held onto the object and pulled it out to look at it.

Dave looked at the object in shock.

It was the watch.

He could have sworn he placed it in his bag this morning, and Dave specifically remembered that the watch was not there when he was walking through the hallway earlier.

'How the hell?-'

Dave suddenly got serious and with determination running through his body, he checked the time on his phone and started turning back the time on the watch, setting it back to this morning like he had done before.

He blinked his eyes and when he opened them he was quickly sitting up in bed once again.

Hello there! Author here, I just wanted to apologize over the fact that this chapter is so short, for those who might actually be reading the story, you're probably upset at how little to read there is this time.

I think I'm coming up to a block in the way.

Specifically writers block.

Nothing for sure yet but we'll see how it goes when i try to write again.

I'll be updating less frequently because i recently got a job, I'm still inn my junior year right now, and also my finals are coming up.

I'll be pretty busy trying not to get fired or to fail.

I'll still try to write when i can but don't be surprised when there's another short chapter or it takes a while for me to update.

Again, sorry!

Until next time lovelies! <3
