"I can't give up on him you know" Rey tells Poe.

"Who?Kylo?" He asks, and she rolls her eyes.

"Yes,Kylo" she states with an annoyance in her voice.

"What do you mean you can't give up on him?" Poe asks with confusion.

"Master skywalker said I was his only chance of returning to the light side" Rey says, simply.

"I have to bring him back" She adds.

"No, you don't" He tells her, and she looks at him.

"Master Skywalker said-" he interrupted her.

"It doesn't matter what he said. It's not your responsibility to save Kylo. Only Kylo can save Kylo" He tells her in a soft yet stern tone.

Rey stays silent and thinks. Did she even want to help Kylo? He invaded her mind, killed Han Solo and master Skywalker, tried to kill both Finn and Poe. And murdered her parents! She was waiting for them for years and they never came back. Because of Kylo! All her pain was because of that monster. How could she feel anything, but hatred for him.

She clenched her fists as hatred burned through her veins.

"Rey, you alright?" Poe asks which brings her back to reality " I didn't mean to upset you"

"No,no. You're right, you're completely right" she admits

"I am?" Poe says, surprised.

"I don't need to bring that monster back to the light side"

Poe grins at her, and she closes her eyes and takes a deep sigh.

When she opens them she sees Poe staring at her lips.

She blushes and quickly looks away. He realizes she caught him and blushes himself.

He felt so tempted to kiss her. What is he thinking? Her heart clearly belongs to Finn.

But, maybe he could change that. Maybe.

Kylo could sense Rey pulling away from him. He could feel her fiery.

He tried to remind himself that this was good. That this anger towards him was pulling her closer to the dark side. But, he just didn't like it.
He wanted her love, not her hatred. But, it could be worse. She could feel nothing towards him, if she has decided to have such a strong and fierce emotion towards him like hatred that means she is just as obsessed with him as he is with her. Just in a different way,

Apathy is the opposite of love, not hate.

So maybe having her hatred wasn't the worst thing, maybe it was a step closer to her finally falling for him. Maybe.
