Ladybug's POV
Whoa, it's really chilly tonight. I wrapped my hands around my torso, hoping for any kind of warmth to seep through. Nevertheless, I kept walking around the dark streets of Paris and kept my eyes alert to any sign of danger. The role of a superhero is really tough when you have to keep a whole lot of civilians safe.
As I was scouting the rooftops, someone tapped on my shoulder making me jump a few feet high. I turned around to see a pair of green eyes and a row of white shiny teeth in the shadows. "Chat. Don't scare me like that."
The black cat came out of the shadows and bowed infront of me. "Purrrfect as ever, My Lady." He said. He took his place beside me and followed my pace.
"Stop the puns Chat," I giggled. He grinned as always. "Hey, anything interesting at this side of yours?" He asked.
We had arranged that we should divide the areas around Paris so that the job can be done faster. I raised and eyebrow at him. "What, you've done your side?"
He shrugged. "I've taken down some teens who were vandalising a public phone and that's just about it. So, I came here to see something more interesting." He winked at me. If not for my high level of patience, he would be flying in air right now, if you know what I mean.
I rolled my eyes and wanted to give him a reply when someone cleared his throat behind us. We turned around in surprise to see a masked man in the dark alley beside me.
"Having fun, aren't we?" I quickly pulled out my yoyo and Chat extended his staff. Not that we realised that night will change our lives forever.
