Chapter 14

Adrien's POV

I withdrew back and released her lips. She smiled and blushed like crazy. Softly, I tucked in a strand of her raven locks behind her ear. "Marinette."

"Hm?" She hummed. She fingered the hem of my jacket. I pulled her close to me. She nuzzled closer into my chest. Not long after that, she fell asleep. I carried her in my arms bridal-style to her bed.

She opened her sky blue eyes and pouted when I said that I had to go back home. "Stayyyyyyyyy" she whined. I smiled and sat at the foot of her bed.

"What would your parents say?" I asked.

"They like you, you know." She patted the spot beside her.

"How about you?" I quirked. Marinette smiled softly. "I love you. "

I patted her head. "Go back to sleep. I'm going to get the kwamis." I stood up and left Marinette to go downstairs. Silently, I decended the stairs and picked up the sleepy Plagg and Tikki.

After putting them slowly on the desk by Marinette's bed, I settled myself on the cool floor. Maybe I'll buy us a couch or something.

The next day, I was woken up by Marinette's shaking on my shoulder. Rubbing my eyes and stiffling a yawn, I straighten up and greeted her a good morning. She threw me a small face towel and told me to wash my face. Before I locked myself in the bathroom, I heard her said that we were going to see Mater Fu. I nodded and shut the door.

All fresh and clean, I joined Marinette at her desk for a quick breakfast of delicious croissants. "Sorry I didn't give you any blanket or pillows last night." She apologised.

I shrug it off. "It's okay. Shall we go?" I stood up, followed by her. She cleaned the plates while I climbed over her balcony to avoid tumbling into her parents. I waited for her outside while chatting with Plagg. She stepped out of her house, her usual pink bag slung over her shoulder.

"Come." We walked to school and shared some laughs. But, eventough we were smiling, we were a bit worried about what Master Fu was going to say. We reached the school and took our seats, saying hi to Nino and Alya who were wearing skeptical looks. They were wearing matching blue T-shirts that made Marinette roll her eyes.

Chloe barged in. "Adrikins!!!!" She shrieked and tried to hug me but I skilfully dodged her by dragging Nino in front of me. She pouted that foulty lips of hers and went to her seat.

"Nice moves dude," grumbled Nino. I chuckled and said sorry to him. Behind me, I heard Alya practically begging for explanations on why Marinette and I reached school together. Marinette tried to shut her up when the teacher walked in.

Class started as usual. When the bell rang, I casually dragged Marinette out of the classroom pass the gawking Chloe. We continued our way to Master Fu's small cottage.

He was out on the lawn, waiting for us. Quickly, we went inside and sat around the table on the floor. Plagg and Tikki sat on the table to let Master Fu look at them closely. He took out the thick book and cleared his throat.

"Okay. Let's get to the point."
