Adrien's POV
Master Fu inspected Tikki and Plagg while at the same time looking through the book. He nodded to himself and turned to us.
Marinette suddenly held onto my hand, her shaking visible in her touch. I looked at her with confident eyes, even of it was only a sliver of it.
"I guess....both of you did something that accidentally reversed the effect. Adrien, let me look at your finger. The one you put the ring on," instructed the old man. I trusted out my hand towards him.
Slowly, he traced the bright red ringlet that went across the finger. Huh, I've never noticed this before. He pointed to it.
"Here, this is the mark. This shows that you and Plagg are connected with a permanent contract." Master Fu explained. Then, he inched himself towards Marinette.
"Turn your head to one side."Master Fu told her. Marinette obidiently followed the order. Master Fu then inspected her ears. "She does have the same kind of marks. So, I guess both of you will get to keep your kwamis."
Marinette cheered and hugged me. The burden that was on our shoulders were lifted. Plagg flew slowly towards me. Tikki happily hugged Marinette's cheek.
I raised an eyebrow at Plagg. "Come here, buddy." I got a short hug from him before he backed away from me. I laughed at him and tweaked his ears a bit.
"Let's go save Paris together some other day."
