"Kill. Me. Now." are the only thoughts going through my head with this stupid alarm clock going off. Thank god the school year is almost over, I don't know how much longer I can take Senior year. I look at the clock to see that it's 7:30. School starts at 8:15, and I'm not even near ready. "Great." I manage to get out of bed, grab some clothes and run to the shower.
As the hot water runs down my back, I remember how I was supposed to call Kendall last night to see if she was picking me up for school. Kendall has been my best friend since I can remember. She's one of the crazy girl's that keep my life sane. I step out of the shower, dry off and check the time. 7:45, not bad. "Brielle!" my mom yells. I ignore her in hopes I can finish my hair and put on my clothes before she makes it upstairs. "Brielle!!" she yells louder. I throw on my clothes, straighten my hair, apply a light shade of eye shadow and I run into my room. "Brielle Leanne Parker! Do you see you what time it is?! Come on!!" she fusses opening my bedroom door. "Good morning to you too, mom." I reply with a sigh. I put on my sandals, and take a quick look in the mirror. The fitted floral lace top, beige cardigan and denim jeans looked simple, but nice. I throw on my jewelry, grab my phone and bookbag, then head downstairs.
I walk straight into the kitchen and grab a juice out the fridge, realizing I still don't have a ride for school. "Mom, do you mind taking me to--" I'm stopped by the blue eyed, blonde haired, grinning boy sitting at my kitchen table. "Good morning Brie." he says with his charming smile. Niall has been in my life before I met Kendall. We grew up together, in the city of Detroit, going to the same schools since the 3rd grade. "Thanks for the warning of your arrival." I say jokingly, messing up his hair. "Are you ready to go? You took 5 hours in the shower, I'm surprised you didn't drown." he says fixing his brownish blonde locks. "Oh hush." I chuckle. "You should learn to answer your phone." he says as he grabs our book bags. "I don't have any calls from you." I reply. "Sureeee ya' don't." His accent is so thick when he says certain things. When he and his dad moved down from Ireland, he was the most popular kid in school...and still is. I checked my phone and I had 2 missed calls from Niall, and 4 texts from Kendall. She's probably at school by now. I check the clock and it's 8:05. "Let's go" I say. I look up and Niall is no where to be found. I run to open the front door only to hear the revved engine of his blue '75 Mustang Chevy.
"You coming?" he yells as he lets down his window. I roll my eyes, run down the steps and get into the car.
