Part 6: "I am back..."

I stood in front of an enormous house.

It was decorated in an old-fashioned way.

I recognised it was my grandparents home. I saw some photos taken by my sister, it was exactly this one.

I was a bundle of nerves.

What if my grandmother did not recognise me?

If she did, would she kick me out?

I hatred and shivered at first, just like a kid afraid of the thunderstorm.

I held the little girl's hand. I slightly saw her. She gave me a caring look. She seemed worried.

The wind blew slowly and softly. My heart bumped in an unusual rhythm.

Edgar pat me. Meanwhile, the little girl whispered something to Edgar. He nodded, stepped forward, and rang the bell:

- Grandma! We are home!

- Ed? Tou-san? Get in.

Everything was blurred and I could not hear anything in a sudden.

Tou-san...?

Edgar, in a hurry, told me:

- We are going in right now. Please remind yourself not to get inside her room until you receive my call, okay?

- Thanks for informing. I will.

Edgar got inside. I was still holding Tou-san's - just as my grandmother called her - hand. We stood outside for a while.

The wind was still blowing, just around us.

I had the sense of a spirit was flying next to me and her. It was blowing just like a saying which my mom had taught me and my sister:

"Whenever the wind is blowing around you, slowly and softly, means the spirit of your deceased beloved is back to convince and support you."

I held my shirt at the place of the heart.

I looked down. My head got heavier.

Suddenly, Tou-san asked me:

- Are you okay? Let me help you get inside. I know what you are feeling.

- I am fine. It is so nice of you to help me. You remind me a lot of my sister. - I smiled to her.

- I am yours.

What did I just hear?

"I am yours."

How...?

Was it a 'sign' showing that she really is my sister?

I would find out soon afterwards.

We both got inside. I closed the door. Tou-san walked before me. We stood next to grandma's room. I heard her and Edgar talking. She spoke with a weak voice:

- Is he here now, Ed?

- Yes, I had just picked him up from the airport. He might be waiting somewhere nearby.
