Chapter Eighteen; Not Edited
"Come on Calum. Michael will be here in a hour and I want to do your hair perfectly." Ivy exclaimed as she pulled me to her room where I know a lot of hair stuff will be everywhere.
"Ivy, what did I tell you about the death grip?" I said, wincing when she grabbed on to me harder as we went up the stairs to go to her room. My eyes took in every detail of her house that I loved so much and it felt like home more than mine did to me.
"Get over yourself." Ivy giggled and it was obvious she was in a good mood which brought a smile to my face. The blue dyed girl was never in a good mood like this one and it brought me warmth and happiness to see her like this.
"I know you're happy but please let me go." I pleaded, hoping she would obey to my begging because it is starting to hurt as we trekked up the stairs. With a huff of disbelief, I yanked my arm out of her grasp and a whimper left my lips as bruises started to show up on my tan arm and it made me glare at my friend.
"Shit. I'm sorry Calum." Ivy said sheepishly with a frown when I saw her looking at my tan arm that now had small bruises lining up on the skin. "I guess we have to cover that up before Michael see's it. I don't need him beating me up." She half joked which made me roll my eyes in amusement because he would beat her up. The redhead has anger issues and I don't need him beating up Ivy just because she was over excited and caused small bruises to show up on my arm.
"Anyway, what should we do first?" I asked as we reached the blue haired girl's room. I watched Ivy open the door to her room and I was greeted with a clean space that took me by surprised. Her room is never clean and it made my jaw dropped when I took in the surroundings in front of me.
"Close your mouth Calum. You might catch some flies." Ivy rolled her eyes in amusement at my reaction to her tidy room. "We should do your hair first." She said, answering my previous question and I nodded my head because hair should always come first.
"How are you going to do it?" I asked as Ivy lead me to her bathroom and made me take a seat at the stool that was placed in there. "It's a secret." Was the only thing she responded to me which made me frown. I hope she wasn't going to go out there and make it punk looking because I would hurt her terribly if that was the case.
I folded my arms across my lap and watched her put a blind fold over my eyes which made me let out a squawk of disbelief. "Seriously? Ivy you know I don't like the dark." I commented as darkness overcame my sight and a groan escaped my lips as I sat still and waited for the blue dyed girl to be finished with my hair. "Ouch, what the hell?" I winced when I felt something hot hit my bare neck and I knew she was probably curling or straightening my hair to my dismay. I don't like people messing with my hair and I like to keep it natural looking but Ivy wasn't going to have that.
"We're almost done!" Ivy exclaimed, ignoring my protest when she kept burning my neck every ten minutes which made a scowl appear on my face, replacing the smile that was once on it. After ten more minutes of me complaining she finally announced that she was finished. "Take your blindfolds off Calum."
I did as what she told me to do and the sudden light was almost blinding because I sat in the darkness for almost thirty minutes. Tears were appearing in my eyes as I took in the scene in front of me and I was awe struck on how I looked.
"Ivy." I put my hand in front of my face to stop me from crying and I turned around and gave her the biggest hug that I could give. "I love it! Thank you, thank you." I squealed and it made the blue haired girl smile so big that I could do the same.
"Your welcome. Now let's go get you suit on." My eyes grew wide because she was the one who bought the suit for me.
I opened my eyes to see a pretty long black suit and It was beautiful and it took my breath away when I finally realized it was mine. "Oh my god." I tried to keep the tears back but they were coming out of nowhere and Ivy had to hold me to stop them from coming. "Thank you Ivy. I love the suit and I can't thank you enough."
"Now, let's go get it on."
---
"Ivy, can you get the door?" I shouted and I heard her say something on the lines of 'okay' and I slipped on my heels and headed for the stairs to go meet Michael and Ivy's date which is Harry. I was surprised that they were going with each other. I placed my hand on the wood to the stairs and walked slowly down them and was met by the shimmering green eyes of Michael Clifford.
"You look hot." I blushed when the redhead started to examine me with his eyes and a smile appeared on his face. I took this opportunity to check out my boyfriend and he looked hot today with his black suit and red tie. "Well, you look hot." I nudged him cheekily and he laughed, showing off the white teeth that I grew to love so much.
"Okay you two lovebirds." Michael and I turned to see Harry looking at us with amusement and Ivy had her hands in a heart shape and I couldn't but help laugh at my friend's manners. "The limo is here so let's go." With that Michael grabbed my hand and I blushed again, making the redhead coo at the sight and I pushed him playfully and he laughed once again.
"Let's do this."
