Zosia barged through the front door,
"Ollie!" She cried as she ran to the bedroom, he was there collapsed on the floor with blood running from his nose, he had a pulse but it was faint. Just as she knelt down she heard the ambulance pull up, "In here!" she shouted.

"He's got a grade four brain tumour, I don't know what is wrong, he just kept saying it's burning. Please just help him." The paramedics immediately began to prod him with needles, catheters and drips.

"Can you take him straight to Neuro at Holby, they know he's coming." Zosia explained as Ollie was placed into the ambulance. She was holding his hand so tightly that all the colour had dissipated from her hand, but his was so cold and lifeless. She knew this wasn't good, and deep down she knew it was bad.

Ollie was rushed straight for a CT scan, no words were shared between Guy and his daughter, the pain in her stare said all she needed; save him. The young F2 was left outside the room, sitting on the chair, rubbing her swollen stomach,

"Oh baby, your daddy really isn't well. What are we going to do?" She whispered as a tear slid down her cheek.

It seemed liked hours before someone even spoke to Zosia, the world was rushing pass but she was stuck. Guy then appeared with a solemn look on his face. "Zoshyyyy, I'm sorry, it's spread, we can't do anything more."

Zosia's head dropped and she began to sob,
"How long? How long does he have left?"
"It's hard to say, 8 months, a year maybe, I will make sure he will there for the birth. Without the chemotherapy he's gonna get a little stronger before he starts going downhill. But he will be comfortable I promise." Zosia only sobbed more and Guy tightly hugged his daughter.

"Can I see him?" She whispered like a fragile child.
"He's awake, he knows everything. He's got morphine to control his pain, it just seems he passed out due to the pain, I'm sorry, I really am."

Zosia nodded before slowly edging though the door, Oliver was lying on the bed and quickly smiled at her,
"Come here." He said as he held his hand out. She walked briskly and sat on the bed clenching his hand with her head on his chest.

"I don't want you to go." She cried, Ollie didn't reply but he simply stroked a piece of hair out of her eyes and kissed her forehead.
" I don't care what they say, I'm going to be there for our baby, birth, nappies, poo and everything. I'm staying for as long as I can."

"Promise?" Zosia asked weakly.
"With all my heart." He replied.
